What is the PreSonus Eris Sub 8 BT designed for?

The Eris Sub 8 BT is designed to extend the low-frequency response of nearfield monitoring systems for music production, mixing, and immersive media playback. It reaches down to 30 Hz, giving you a clearer view of your mix's low-end foundation.

Do I need a separate amplifier or receiver to use the Eris Sub 8 BT?

No. The PreSonus Eris Sub 8 BT features 50W of onboard Class AB amplification, so no additional gear is required. Connect it wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 or through wired inputs and it is ready to integrate into any monitoring setup.

Can I tune the Eris Sub 8 BT to work with my existing speakers and room?

Yes. The Eris Sub 8 BT includes a variable lowpass filter from 50 Hz-130 Hz, a defeatable highpass filter for satellite speaker integration, a polarity invert switch, and input gain control, so you can dial in a phase-aligned 2.1 system for any room.

What can I connect to the PreSonus Eris Sub 8 BT?

The Eris Sub 8 BT accepts Bluetooth 5.0 wireless, balanced 1/4-inch TRS, and unbalanced RCA inputs and balanced TRS and RCA pass-through outputs for connecting satellite speakers, making it easy to integrate into virtually any studio or media setup.

How does the Eris Sub 8 BT differ from a consumer subwoofer?

Unlike other subwoofers that exaggerate bass for dramatic effect, the Eris Sub 8 BT is engineered for clarity and balance, delivering tight, controlled low-end reproduction down to 30 Hz so your mixes translate accurately everywhere they are heard.
