One of my best purchases
I was nervous buying furniture on Amazon, but this lift-top coffee table totally exceeded my expectations. Assembly took about 35 minutes with just a screwdriver — the instructions were actually clear and all the pieces were labeled. It feels solid once it's together, no wobbling. The black wood grain finish looks way more expensive in person and matches perfectly with our light gray couch. The best part is the storage. The top slides open to a deep hidden compartment (I keep laptops, chargers, and remotes in there) and the open cubby on the side is perfect for baskets or blankets. The lift-top is smooth and locks in place, so I actually work from the couch now without hunching over. For the price, the quality is excellent. Tapered legs give it that mid-century vibe without looking cheap, and it hasn't scratched at all after two weeks of daily use with a toddler around. If you need a small-space coffee table that looks good and actually functions, buy this one. I would order it again in a heartbeat
