Recommend for parents of kids who needs reminders to switch tasks. A great visual countdown timer, for my 10 year old, and even my 3 year old so he could see how much time was left he had to stay in his room for quiet time. Simple, and would recommend! The only thigg I need is someway to make it beep so I can find it, if my kids carry off with it! I guess there are products for that too!

I brought this over a year ago and it's essential to my everyday. I use it more than my timeTimer. The noise level can be high so don't forget you have it on. The battery is good. It's very nice quality (I drop it all the time and it's fine.) The display screen is clear and shows both the regular time and timer duration, as well as a visual of timer duration. Which is nice because it's easier to orient when you see all 'Time Information' on one display. Functionally the difference between this and TimeTimer Dial: When timer rings, you can double tap the dial to reset. I find that this small motion cuts out the small interruption of having to turn a dial to the exact right time. This is a big deal when you have ADHD and want to do small hyperfocused sprints (ex. 3 minutes per step in a tutorial, etc.) This is the primary timer I use, I carry it all around the house. It's good for long duration but especially powerful for shorter sprints.

Easy to use, cute little timer/ clock! My only complaint is the alarm sound is borderline anxiety producing, it beeps, then ramps up the beeping until it hits "panic attack" level of beeping, until you click the little button. It definitely means you won't ignore the alarm!! But I purchased this as a timer for my four year old, to help make time a little easier to understand - and he really enjoys the digital countdown notches so that aspect is really nice. Overall it is a nice perk to have a timer that also functions as a regular clock. I ended up putting some tape over the speak to make it a little quieter.

Easy to use, very easy to time and program, I like that the time was adjustable instead of preset. Convenient size and works for all sorts of timing.

My son actually pays attention now at eating and does't just sit there and play and talk, he actually Eats his food and keeps track of the time and counting down. I like this timer because of its nice color display from green to red. it works great and the time can be seen clearly without any bad glare and it doesn't fade. Great deal and great timer.

Calling all my parents to ADHD children. Gosh, I wish I’d found this sooner. It is perfect for completing homework and breaking things up into manageable time chunks. The color is perfect for count down anxiety reduction. Small size (about the size of a deck of cards). Adjustable volume. Really helped my son stay on track. We also timed breaks!

Using this simple device helped my kids feel more independent, making them confident in understanding time. Now they're not asking if 5 mins is a lot or not, and can set the timer themselves to watch TV for just 5 more minutes, then follow it without needing help :)

It's a great device - very easy to use - effective -- if you're just using it for it's timer, and not the alarm. The alarm is too clunky to operate -- too many steps using too few buttons. You have to push and hold the button for several seconds, navigate through the settings of the hours, then the minutes, just to get to the point where they placed the on/off option for the alarm. This is just to turn it off, otherwise it will go off again the same time the next day, and every 24 hours thereafter. Again, the timer feature is nice to use, but if you're getting it for an alarm clock too, I recommend buying something else. Also, this is the second one I bought - because I use my first one very frequently (as a timer for tasks) and I wanted to get a second one to have in a different room. But I noticed on the second one they changed the programming to something that doesn't make as much sense. It's still workable with the timer, but with the first one you pushed the top button and held it for about 5 seconds to reset everything to zero - which I thought was a faster way to start over. But now you ONLY have the option to twist (dial) to set a new time over at another time. Which is probably fine, but what make NO SENSE at all is now the push and hold feature for the top button turns off the sound, so that it's just silent, no vibration or anything but just silent. LOL Why would anyone want an alarm that doesn't notify them with anything when the time is up. It doesn't even flash lights or anything you will notice. They didn't think that one through. Makes NO sense. lol Again, for a timer. it's fine.

The clock is what I expected except the face doesn't light up so that's a bit disappointing

This is a good no-frills timer. I’ve used it regularly since June and am pleased. It doesn’t feel too cheap given the price. It does what I wanted. It displays a clock time all the time, is silent when timing, and is easy to set. The alarm clock is reliable. The biggest downside is that it is very loud, and if you don’t turn off the alarm immediately, it quickly progresses to beeping very quickly. The volume is not adjustable. I use it for work. It would be good for a child that doesn’t plan to throw it around. I don’t know how durable it really is. I’m still using the batteries it came with.
