I love these things so much.
As always, elixir strings are the best! I love these things. They make it so much easier on the fingers and keep the sound. I don't get my thumb annihilated each time I pluck a string. I can't ever not want elixirs on my guitar. I'm unsure about a comparison to the other webs, but polyweb is great for my taste. 10/10 would buy again!

Better quality
I like the thicker gauge but one of the high strings snapped on me when I went to wind it again bc it kept kinking. So if u dont get right the first time on those high strings u have a small chance of trying to redo it. Thankfully I still had just barely enough to make it work. Definitely a lot tighter tension for basic E tuning but I didn’t make any truss rod adjustments or anything and I have a jackson dinky.the low string was just a smidge fat but seems to work. I wouldn’t go any thicker or u need to make a bunch of modifications. Sounded great ones you stretch and get strings broken in then they hold tune well.

Polyweb is the best tone feel
I don’t know if they stopped making these or what but the longevity of the Elixir Coated string is unmatched. The nanoweb was a bit bright for my tone but the feel was fast and sleek. The optoweb has nice tone and the longevity of coated strings but not the really smooth feeling. If they ever make the Polyweb again I will go back but for now I have been using the Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt for that uncolored clarity and presence of the subtle overtones without too much treble that I enjoyed about the polyweb but they are not coated. Might have to get used to the brightness of the nanoweb… I like the feel and the longevity is unmatched. I put them on my acoustic guitars too!

Elixir polyweb acoustic guitar strings
I have used Elixir strings on all my acoustic guitars for over a decade. They last the longest, sound the best, and feel the best. I suggest trying the different versions to find what you like the best. I play the .11-.49 polywebs on my 2013 PRS Angelus. They sounds great and last a very long time. Wash your hands before you play to keep the excess natural oil off the strings and wipe the guitar down after you play. I guarantee they will last a long time and sound great!!

Authentic and feel great
There are definitely counterfeit elixir strings out there but these are 100% authentic. I have been spoiled by these strings and I refuse to buy any other brand for my own guitars.
