Have purchased several - mainly use for a sturdy hand-hold for navigating across open spaces where railings can't be installed. They supply the stability for our balance issues. Easy to set up. Easy to put almost anywhere stability is needed. All have come with extra screws. Have sent some to a relative's house so they will be there when we visit. Great quality.

Purchased this for my mother in law after a bad fall breaking her shoulder. She was not able to get out of bed without assistance. First morning after installing this next to bed she was able to pull herself out of bed without an issue. Overall simple product that does the job.

My husband is disabled and has issues with getting himself pulled up off his spot of the couch. The plate base is pretty heavy and with sliding it under the couch leg, it gives him the perfect thing to help pull up on to get up. It didn't come with instructions but does come with the hardware and tool needed to assemble it. Luckily it is pretty easy to figure out. The 4 grip cushions that come with could be a bit bigger as it barely velcros securely together. Overall this is good for my husband. At 360# it holds his weight fine.

This is a solid grab bar! Perfect for my elderly Mom who slept on the sofa. Slipped it under one of the sofa legs and it stayed in place unlike the ones that go under the cushions that tend to raise up! It also provided protection from rolling off the sofa.Highly recommend this grab bar!

4/28/23: Very disappointed because it woul have been a perfect product. it came incomplete, no baseplate or bolts. Without those, the item is useless. This would have been perfect. I asked for a return, so we will see if it comes. If it does, the rating will certainly be a 5 star.I searched for a product like this for a long time, that is portable and can be used everywhere for my elderly parent who is struggling to walk, get up from a chair, etc.I asked for a return. I am not sure why they cannot just send the baseplate. I am supposed to return the railing, but it is difficult for me to do thuis, only to receive the same part in return. I just need the rest of the item to complete it. It said to return it so I can receive the replacement, but cannot send it back, so I am not sure if I will be receiving the replacement after I requested one. I will keep all updated with this.At this point, I cannot recommend the product if you only ordered this and desperately need it like I did for my elderly. Buy another product that will come complete.I requested a replacement, so my rating will certainly change to a 5, once I receive it and can use it. To be continued....
