RadioMaster Pocket Portable Remote Controller Hall Gimbal EdgeTX Built in LED Light Mode 2 (Charcoal, ELRS)

OMG it's sooo good. It really is a great fit in even large hands like mine and works great for a thumber like myself. I have just enough switches (I do have to use the dial for OSD presets) but I use a full 10 channels without issue and is plenty for flying FPV. For fixed wing flying I don't think I have ever used more than 9 channels including triple rates and speaking the per cell pack voltage so this works great for that as well. The lights inside were a nice surprise and I also plan on adding in an LED filament light strip to the 5v pads that are available inside to add even more lights. Battery longevity is pretty solid using 3000mah 18650's and I rarely charge it. I was surprised at how long the battery life is after hearing stories of the zorro poor battery life and my own experience with a 5000mah RM lipo in my TX12. This seems to outlast the larger LIPO but I only "feel" it lasts longer, haven't done any tests. The gimbals are an adjustment from my TX16s with AG01 gimbals but I got used to them within 10 minutes of flying and the smaller size is not an issue. I might upgrade to the Pocket CnC gimbals at some point in the future since they are dirt cheap but for now I don't really need them, just want them. :) The display is bright but not OLED which I'm fine with since I primarily use this for FPV and never need to look at the screen. The buttons are layed out nicely, quality is very polished and it feels very solid in the hand; not at all light and flimsy like I was anticipating. I find myself grabbing this controller almost exclusively now since it's so easy to use, fits very well, is compact and easy to bring along, and also love the folding antenna for traveling. Overall I was shocked at how much I love this radio and it is quickly becoming my favorite radio of the 3 I own. I do wish I could have a 4" color touchscreen at the top but only in this form factor as then I would have 1 radio for FPV and Fixed Wing to rule them all. Until then I will keep using my RM TX16s with nice widgets and pretty display for fixed wing where it matters and the pocket for FPV where it doesn't. Buy this, you won't regret it!

It is such a good controller! Easy connectivity and good battery life. It even has pong, so when I crash my drone I can still use it for something!

It's a manageable size and not too clunky. It The Pouch it comes with is barely big enough for it, so you cant fit a USB in there. Value for the money was good, just wish it came with batteries and a USB C Cable. Seems like all the companies now-a-days cut corners on accessories that used to be included. Functionality: It worked with Liftoff on Steam which is what I bought it for. It was pretty easy to plug in, just had to watch a couple of you-tube videos on plugging it into the top USB Port instead of the bottom and only turn it on after it's plugged in. Durability: Haven't dropped it yet or had a reason to question it's durability. I do like that the sticks pop off and have a little storage compartment for travel. I'd recommend it.

Its been a great first controller for me, I really have no gripes. Remember to grab some 18650s.

Has been great. I also ordered the neon green shell from the manufacturers website, so it looks so cool. I also bought a 4in1 module, so I can control frsky devices as well. Does everything I need it to do.

I bought this tiny RadioMaster Pocket thinking “cool, small controller, probably fine.” What arrived was a compact black rectangle of pure cosmic disrespect that immediately declared war on gravity, physics, and my fragile sense of self-worth. Hall gimbals so smooth they feel like they were lubricated with the tears of defeated whoop pilots. I center them once and they just… stay. No drift. No excuses. No “sorry bro I’m centering tomorrow.” They’re locked in like they’ve signed a blood oath with my thumbs. EdgeTX boots up faster than my existential dread on a Monday. I didn’t even have to sacrifice a chicken to configure it—just plugged in, poked a few menus, and suddenly I’m hurling a 5-inch freestyle beast around like it owes me money. The built-in LED light? It glows this soft, menacing purple that makes my drone look like it’s about to drop the sickest diss track on the entire 2.4 GHz band. Fits in my pocket like it was born there. I’ve carried it through a car wash, a porta-potty line at a music festival, and one very suspicious late-night gas station run. Still works. Battery laughs at “low power” warnings. I’m convinced it’s feeding off my disappointment in humanity. Every time I pick it up, the Pocket whispers “you thought you were in control? Cute.” And then it lets me do the smoothest power loop I’ve ever flailed through while I scream internally. People at the field see me pull this thing out and their eyes go wide like they just witnessed a war crime committed against bulkier transmitters. This isn’t a remote. It’s a cursed artifact that chose me. My hands now belong to it. My drones obey it. My ego is in therapy. 10/10 would let the tiny tyrant rule my airspace forever. Long live the Pocket. May its LED never dim.

Great size and feel. Easy to use. Is efficient with battery life. The struggle for FPV drone usage is real! This has been a great way to start and use drone simulator before buying FPV.

Had to wait for delivery from Amazon America... And then it didn't work.......... Returned to America.

It's legit item. Keep 2 18650 in hand earlier doesn't come with battery
