Perfect laptop 10/10
Excellent speakers, very bright screen, very quirky with the screen flipping, it’s on of the best hardware I’ve ever bought. You need to know that the battery life is a total miss. You might get 3 hours of battery life if you’re lucky. Performance is spectacular. It is more than you’ll ever need. The keyboard is also a 10/10, this comes from a person who can type on a keyboard 12 hours a day in a regular basis. The laptop is next level light, I don’t know how it is possible for that laptop to be that light. The default charging cable is a pain, I’d suggest buying a 120W charger like the ones that the MacBooks use.

Love it! So fast!
Had this for a few months now. Love the design. The hinge for the fold down screen was a lot more sturdy than I was actually expecting. Beautiful screen.

The best laptop you can buy…for VERY specific needs
I am a college student that makes commissioned art on the side. I also do some 3D modeling, rigging, and sculpting. Having a touchscreen laptop isn’t a necessity, but it’s a huge luxury that makes my work exponentially easier, so I was looking between this device and its competitors. I ultimately went with the Surface Laptop Studio 2 over the ROG Flow X16 because of the pen performance - the ROG is a beefier computer with a better screen and better performance, but the pen support is pretty lackluster. I found that programs would Clip Studio would lag, palm rejection never worked properly, and the pens I used all created jittery lines and uneven strokes. I simply couldn’t find a pen that worked well. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 has excellent pen support - I would say it’s just as good as Apple’s iPad Pencil support. Being able to fold the screen down without flipping the keyboard completely around is extremely convenient and makes for a more enticing drawing experience - you will WANT to draw more because the screen is so easy to work with. But there’s a catch: this device is very, very expensive. The version I bought was almost $4000 - well above the $2800 Flow X16 mentioned earlier, and more costly than gaming laptops that come with top-of-the-line specs. You are paying for convenience here. The RTX 4060 is good enough for just about any game if you limit the resolution to 1080p and take advantage of NVidia’s DLSS technology, and you will have absolutely zero issue creating complex sculptures in Blender or Unity. My device has 64 GB of RAM which is incredible for multitasking, though I’ve yet to use more than 28 GB at a time. This trim is very much a “future proofing” trim, one you get if you plan to keep the device for a long time (and at this price point, you probably should). The battery life is…ok. With the performance profile set to “Balanced”, I was able to squeeze out about 5 hours with a workload consisting of a mixture of YouTube, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Photoshop. Gaming would get you about 2-3 hours, depending on the game. I keep it plugged in most of the time, but if I need to take it in the field it has “enough” battery life to suffice. I highly recommend getting the Surface Slim Pen 2 if you get any version of this device. It works extremely well and conveniently attaches to the underside of the device, charging along the way. It, too, is pricy, but very worth it in my opinion.

I love my surface!!
I was in a pickle and had to get a laptop for school. My work laptop is a Dell (ho hum, mediocre at best) and my old laptop is a surface but it’s almost 10 years old, so given everything I would need to do for this masters program it was time for an upgrade. This surface laptop is absolutely fabulous. I love it. ♥️

I like it more than I thought I would.
For years, I have used the Surface Pro 13" laptop, and I absolutely LOVE it. It was so easy to travel with. I honestly did not want to upgrade to this larger-sized laptop, but I needed to for the 2 TB memory space due to my work. I format documents and graphics. So far, I am liking it. It hasn't taken me long to adjust to a larger screen. We will see if the size annoys me when I travel, but I am hoping not. I can say that things seem to work a lot smoother for me with this machine. Maybe more memory space is making that difference? I was hoping for a blue one, but could only find silver, so I would really like to see more color options in the future. Other than that, I'd say this is a quality laptop. It is durable, and the screen quality is amazing.

Not worth the money at all
I bought this laptop for college and it works very well for many things. It is very efficient for doing CAD projects or coding, but fails at many basic things. If the battery runs out or the laptop shuts down, it completely forgets how to work. I will try to open it up to do my homework, but it won’t turn on, even with it plugged in. After it takes 5-10 minutes to turn on, I’ll sit there for another at least 15 minutes trying to connect to wifi. For some reason it will say that it’s connected to wifi on the settings screen, but it won’t work for any functions. I can’t figure out how to fix this, and it happens every single time the laptop fully powers down. My cheap $100 chromebook that I had in high school worked better for simple functions than this “top of the line” laptop. This laptop is less than a year old and I’ve been having these problems since I got it. Do not spend this much money on this inconvenience of a laptop.

My fit, exactly
I've always enjoyed the creative arts and this is a blast for that. Also does the laptop and vid watching in an awesome way. Caveat: I can't find a dedicated Owners Manual (those 80 page thingies) just a trouble shooting one. NICE expensive but NICE
