Assembly is easy, quality is somewhat cheaper feeling but it's cool and fun. Put the nerf bullet in the empty shell, load then fire. It's neat. Can jam if you don't put the bullet in properly has a fair range.

Do not waste your money on this!! This toy is TRASH!!! The darts only shoot about 20% of the time and when they do, they just look like they have simply fallen out. The shells stopped ejecting after about 3 times of being shot. Not only that, I specifically instructed Amazon to conceal my package because it was an Easter gift and they ignored that so my son's Easter gift was ruined as well as the Easter bunny magic!! HORRIBLE experience!!!

First, I got a product seemly already used: there were scratches here and there. Aesthetically this was bad enough for me, but then upon playing a bit with it I noticed that one of the shells did not work at all: neither the dart would fire nor it would eject from the gun. This was another big bummer since the toy comes already with way too few shells; from 6 I had only 5 functional. If at least the company sold the shells separately I could have considered buying some extra, but no, not only I got a seemly used product it also had a defect. I returned it the very same day.

Okay so it does work. I didn’t read the reviews till after it arrived but the no instructions are definitely not ideal but after working to really figure it out, we were able to assemble it and it works. Sometimes it gets jammed, not worth $35 but it works. For anyone looking to buy this or looking back at their review who had troubles and didn’t return it, it takes time to assemble but be patient. The aim is also off but its okay, not a big deal. Its okay on durability but honestly, they could’ve done better for the price. Looks cheap ish but its okay. As for the safety, i would look out for when you are assembling because theres a spring that flies out. Other than that its safe and a good nerf gun.

It's impossible to load without scratching up your finger it shoots maybe 10 feet oh and they give you 40 darts and 6 shells like just why it came with a quick reload shell holder but it dosent mount anywhere and the gun itself is just cheap hollow plastic completely through its also get ready....not put tigether yiu have to fo all that id rather just get a nerd gun if this is the alternative because Jesus whi thiugh this was a good product

Had the same issue as others where the shells wouldn't eject properly and it came apart. It was user error in my case. Took it back apart actually looked at the assembly instructions put it back together "correctly"and it works flawlessly. Wish it came with more shells though.
