Our last can opener had a weird hitch in it and would catch each revolution of the gears, though it was fairly new. We bought this new one after looking at all the options and I’m so glad we did. It is smooth, easy to turn, and opens cans quickly.

I purchased this as a back up to my electric can opener. This is the BEST hand-held can opener I have ever used, so good I haven’t used my new electric opener. Very easy to turn to cut open the can, the handle is perfect, very smooth operation. HIGHLY recommend this opener, GREAT price!

Like most people I used my can opener until it dies or does not function as intended. This new one is soft and firm and easy to grip. It is sharp and smooth when opening cans. No effort at all. i cursed myself for waiting so long before buying a good one like this. Will be buying more for Christmas.
