Why the 128GB USB stick I bought only shows 119GB?

128GB which mean 128 trillion byte. It has to divide this by 1024(a true kilobyte), then again to get megabytes, and again to get gigabytes. It then works out at 119GB as far as technology is concerned. But it is 128GB as far as for sale is concerned
