Tesla Level 2 Charger NACS 40A - Plug in Nema 14-50 240V Level 2 EV Charger

This EVIQO EV Charger was the answer to my charging needs for my Rivian R1T. Being a DIYer it was a quick and straightforward installation for me. Installing a 60a/240v breaker and running the 6 AWG wire allows me to charge at a level 2 charging speed that has me ready over night for whatever travel the next day’s travel may bring. The charger is well built of quality materials that should charge my truck for years. The cable length is good allowing me to charger in or out of my garage. The cradle that holds the plug end off the cable allows for excellent storage of the cable as well as the plug when not connected to the truck. The unit itself looks pretty cool there on the garage wall. I don’t worry about overcharging or heat buildup as this charger functions as I would expect from a quality electrical product. The app allows complete charging control however my Rivian app is what I use for all my truck’s functions. This is truly an excellent charger allowing multiple charging options from 20a up allowing charging for your particular EV need.

This charger has exceeded my expectations! I had it installed on the exterior of the garage higher up on the wall under the eve of the roof to protect it from the elements. I live in Florida and there hasn't been any issues with the heat or rain. It's been over two months and I've charged my EV about once a week. It works flawlessly with a consistent 40 amp charge every time. The app is incredibly user friendly and setup is easy. Having the ability to lock it and only give access to users you choose is a nice touch. I received an email a month after purchase from the owner to see how I was enjoying the charger. My only feedback was it would be nice to be able to dim the brightness of the light on the unit, but its not anything bad. He responded to let me know he's received that feedback from others and they're working on a future update. It's very refreshing to have that level of customer service and communication. I highly recommend this charger for anyone. It looks great and performs perfectly.

The price of the unit was reasonable and I feel like it has the features I need. The installation worked out and I think the instructions were detailed enough for anyone qualified to install this (check selection on unit for amperage level during physical installation). I did not use the provided flexible conduit and opted for PVC instead for the power feed but was able to use the provided cable to make my connection as this was long enough. I ended up using some stand-offs to mount the backplate as I was mounting to siding so this was plumb - need a foundation or stand-offs for sloped siding installation. The charger head cable length works well and can be looped onto the provided holder. I was concerned at first with the charger head holder that it did not seem to hold it very tight but have had no issues with this coming loose. The app and LED indicators give me the information I need and they have worked well. Charging time has been great and have this setup for 40 amps which works well for my Subaru Trailseeker.

I could not be happier with my EVIQO. I settled on this unit after reading a number of "top 10" lists and then taking a close look at the design. This is an outstanding product. 1. Incredible packaging. You could toss the box off a building and not harm the contents. 2. Clean, attractive aesthetics and a well-designed shell. 3. Simple, robust circuit board and internals. 4. Excellent iPhone app - Honestly, I wish the app for my EV was as good. I purchased the plug-in version, but I decided to convert it to a hard-wired install, with a straight run of 6/2 Romex direct to the 50A breaker at the panel. I figured pulling 40A for hours at a time, zero connections was the ideal number. Since my 70+ year old house has soft cinderblock walls in the garage, I made a mounting plate from 3/4" HDPE for the unit and the connector cradle. Incidentally, a close friend was looking for a new level 2 charger for his new home, and I strongly endorsed the EVIQO. I think he just ordered one. Thanks EVIQO for an outstanding product. First, I want to say that overall, I love the charger. The quality of it the minute you open it just feels good. The app is nice and overall, it works very well. I have a Tesla and I used to have a Tesla charger before I moved and decided not to buy another as after 3 years, the cable sleeving started coming undone around the charger handle and showing the inner cables and one of my biggest complaints was that when you clicked the button to open the charge port it would be like 5-6 clicks later and a small wait until the charge port opened. I don’t know how you mess that up on your own car and technology stack. So, I decided to try another charger and came across yours. Between all of the specs, capabilities and reviews, I decided to try it out. It checked the boxes for me on quality, amperage, cable length, and a native Tesla plug. The charger so far has performed great and I love plugging in and seeing all the details of the charge. One thing I immediately noticed when using your charger is that the charge door opens on the first click every time unless the car has been in deep sleep for a couple days of not driving. What a pleasure to not sit and wait for it for 20 seconds every time you want to plug in. This is definitely the best charger on the market today. Don't hesitate to get this one if you're looking.

I am very satisfied with the charger. I'm using it to charge my Kia EV6 and it has been working perfectly. The App is easy to use for setting a charging schedule and I appreciate that it lets me know when the charge is complete. Overall, I would say that it is a stylish and well engineered product and I would recommend it to other EV owners.

Easy setup and works great. I have used for my Ioniq 9 and my Tesla Model Y with no issues. Charges at 48 amps on a 60 amp breaker and works every time. Highly recommend.

I bought the EVIQO charger for several reasons. I like the design. It is solidly built compared with others and has a long, cold-flexible cable. You can easily wrap the long charging cable for storage around the unit. The display, while bright, is just two LEDs - on/charging and Wi-Fi connected. The app is simple and provides the data I need to keep track of my charge costs when used in conjunction with the Toyota app. The app-adjustable charging amperage is convenient and if I want to hard wire it later, I can. I have a plug for my welder, so that was more convenient for me. I had a power brown-out and the unit shut down for protection and let me know via a notification. I've had zero issues with it. The company is very responsive to emails and doesn't reply with just canned responses. Well worth your consideration if you want a Level 2 EV charger

This is a very solid charger made of very strudy materials. The cable has excellent length and is also very good material. I've been using it now for nine months with no issues. The app is...okay, certainly usable but I find I use my car's app more to control charging anyway. But in addition to a quality product, the customer service from this company is top notch. Even before I purchased the product I sent them a question as this was my first EV and my first home charger. They responded immediately with very clear information. I would highly recommend this company and product to anyone.

Excellent Level 2 Charger for My Cadillac OPTIQ I've been using the EVIQO NACS 40A Level 2 charger with my Cadillac OPTIQ, and it has been excellent. Charging has been reliable and consistent from day one. Installation was simple using a standard NEMA 14-50 outlet, and the charger delivers the expected Level 2 charging speeds. The 25-foot (7.6 m) cable provides plenty of reach, making it easy to park and plug in without having to position the vehicle perfectly every time. The charger feels very well built. It's weatherproof and rated for outdoor use, which gives me confidence that it will hold up well over time. The charging handle is sturdy and connects securely to the vehicle. The Wi-Fi app is easy to use and allows me to monitor charging sessions and schedule charging during off-peak electricity hours. We have had this charger for about 3 months and have found it to work well. We like the fact that it comes with a holder for holding the charging connector. The other thing we like is the ability to adjust the amperage for the charger and also seeing the estimated cost of eacj charge is an added benefit that we enjoy. We have had no issues with this charger and it works well!

Highly recommended. Easy-to-use charger that works perfectly for my Tesla and Hyundai IONIQ-9 without any need for attachments. Instructions are easy to follow, and setup was a breeze. Scheduling works perfectly so that I can plug my vehicle in and let it start charging as scheduled. The charging cord is longer than the one with the Tesla mobile charger, so that's an added plus, meaning I don't have to spend as much time making sure my vehicle is parked perfectly to ensure that there is enough cord.
