Old Travel Tray 2.0 (Gray)

Super clever, functional, and most importantly, useful travel tray for kids. My daughter is 6 now, and I wish I'd found this tray 3 years ago, because she's just aging out of it; she's almost too big. But never mind that... It has multiple purposes, such as a comfortable strap that goes around the kid so the tray stays in place. It has sections for a drink, toys etc., as well as a sturdy way to hold up an iPad or similar device. It's washable, larger than a lap (which is very good) and it can be easily removed from the kid without having to stop the car etc. The company is terrific; I accidentally ordered the wrong color and they shipped me a new one, no questions asked. I recently purchased another travel product from D Moose, which is better for older kids (hangs from the front passenger headrest). They make really durable products and I highly recommend them!

It’s definitely sturdy, and durable for eating and activities in the car. You have to make sure it’s centered securely on the arms of the car seat but that is nothing really to complain about. My daughter has used this tray for many months now and steps on it getting in and out of the car and it’s still sturdy. The only set back is that the material can be wiped off but holds stains and food in the grain of the material. It would be cool to have a smooth surface that could be wiped off with a wet cloth more easily. I make due with cleaning the tray as best I can, even though some things are just in the grain and harder to get out. Overall based on all the trays I’ve seen and the reviews I have seen, plus my own experience, I’d buy it again and it’s cost effective to replace, especially given how long it has lasted so far with my child beating it up!

I bought two of these for a long car trip with my 2- and 4-year-olds. I have kind of wide car seats, so these don't sit exactly right, but they work well enough. Recently we swapped car seats with a friend for an airplane trip in which I wanted to strap my 2-year-old into a car seat, and the tray didn't work at all on her seat. The sides of the car seat forced the tray into a slope that really wasn't workable. My 4-year-old loves his and used it on his lap on the plane. Consumers should be careful when looking at the color choices. They show up as just color choices, but there are other differences in design. There are two different versions, which come in different patterns. The two I bought are the same version, but there are still minor differences. I do wish the seller would change their page to make this clearer. Both mine are good trays with nice features, but they're not quite the same. They store fairly compactly when not in use, and I stuffed them in a tote to carry onto the airplane easily.

Product is very well made. Perfect for our cross country drive and even our in town trips. So nice to have for snacks and activities to keep little ones distracted. It works even for legos in the car!!! This thing saved us from having a frustrated 3 year old on our 21 hour road trip! It made things so easy. The only thing I’d might change about it is the size of it. It fits our Chico car sits perfectly on top of the arm rest but our evenflo car seat is too big for the tray to go over both arm rest at the same time, Minor issue. For our long trip I just use the Chico carseat.

I was actually a little bit shocked at how much my son (1 years old) loves this tray. I purchased it for a recent road trip, but he wants me to put it on every time he rides now. He drives his cars on it, eats snacks on it, and likes to point out the little pictures printed on the tray. Well worth my time and money. Simply wants to say you guys have top notch customer service and an amazing product!!!

...for the very strong chemical odor! I'm not usually sensitive to off-gassing and chemicals (I confess I don't always wash my kids' clothes before wear), but it is offensive on this product and is pretty bad even from a distance, so much so that I would have felt like an irresponsible parent for subjecting my toddler to it. I left it outside overnight before a transatlantic trip and that didn't do much and after 3 weeks with it on the plane and on the road, the smell is still present but just not as strong.Other than that, the product appears well made except for one piece of velcro that is coming loose, is aesthetically nice and unobtrusive, small enough to use on the plane as well as in the car. My 2.5 year old used it only once during our 3-week trip - she enjoyed it when she did use it, but I don't know if she stopped because she was bothered by the odor or if it is because she's the type who doesn't like stuff in her way.

I LOVE my son's car seat travel tray. We use it for our longer trips or times that I can anticipate high-traffic and it really helps to keep him busy. My son is three-years-old and is full of energy, so keeping him seating for long periods of time can be a challenge. He's also an only child so he doesn't get to have much company in the back seat all time. The seat travel tray helps me give him options that help turn his drive into an experience. He can play with his cars, dinosaurs, color and can even watch his favorite movie if needed. It's really useful and gives me some peace-of-mind knowing that I can give him a chance to have one when he's stuck in the car seat for long periods of time.

Very strong chemical smell. This is the second product I have purchased from this company. I returned the last item due to a heavy chemical smell that did not subside after a considerable time airing out. I was hesitant to purchase from them again and asked the community if this product had a chemical smell. I received one response that it did not and against my better judgement I bought this item. It STINKS heavily of chemicals. I would love to know what the heck they are spraying on the fabric used to make these. This is a product made for children that is emitting harmful VOCs. If you can smell it your child is breathing it. I am livid that this is a product made for children to be wrapped around them in an enclosed space. Unbelievable. I will never purchase from this company again and I would happily pay more for a safer more responsibly made product.

We have a little problem with one but they have extraordinary good service and fix it right know. You can buy with eye closed!

Fits perfect on our kids car seats.

The tray is sturdy as stated in thr description, it doesn't come folded in half, so no creases on it. (See photo of me holding it with one hand while the kid's bottle sits on it). My son is 13 months and I was worried he would be too small for it, I guess it depends on how high are the car seat's armrests as well. In our case it works nicely (and will get better once he is a bit taller). He could finally enjoy his toys and books without them falling on the floor, that's a huuuuuge relief!!!! I got the red model, 2.0, which has the pockets on the sides. It has 2 buckles, left and right, so it's good to unbuckle whichever side. Fits well around my Safety 1st car seat.

We purchased this for long trips. It was poorly made. You need to put the velcro pieces on yourself, however, they sent us two of the same sides so it only works on one side and then the velcro pieces don’t even match up. We used it without these pieces, but we were hoping to use them.

The travel tray has been really offgassing cheap plastic smell since we received it. I even washed it really well and left it out to air out for a week but the smell is still strong. Not worth $30 for this cheap Chinese item.
