Orange Peeler Basic

Awesome piece of equipment that is a must have in my house hold. We consume so many apples and oranges around here this peeler has become a must have and it works so well. Go get one, you’ll love it’ I guarantee

I ordered the potato peeler because I was tired of spending so much time hand peeling the potatoes. With a family of 4 that likes to eat a lot of potatoes this became quite time consuming, and it was always me with the peeling detail. We used the peeler the first evening it was delivered. It worked great, was very fast and does it's job! You will still need to cut off the top and bottom of each potato, but that is nothing compared to having to peel a whole potato! The clean up was very easy. The peeler was very easy to use and simple to understand how it operates. It is compact and fits very nicely in the cabinet for storage. It also works very well on apples and oranges. I would definitely recommend this product, it did not disappoint!

I came across this gadget on YouTube that promised to make peeling fruits a breeze, and given all the juicing I do, I thought it would be a great time-saver. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The fruits would either come out barely peeled or overly peeled, with no consistency whatsoever. There were even times when the fruit would fall off the stand entirely! To top it all off, cleaning up was a nightmare with juice dripping everywhere from the over-peeling. So, I'm back to the good old manual, time-consuming peeling.

My husband was pretty impressed that the peeler worked pretty well. Doesn’t work so well if the apple is not completely completely round. But I’m gonna give it a good review because it does a decent job

Worked great the first time. After that, it doesn't peel all the way down. I still use it but its irritating. Thought about returning.

I found this peel worked really well on apples. I was not so pleased with how it peeled potatoes, but maybe that was because of the shape of the potato. But overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

WOW! I am using this to peel lemons and limes and it works amazingly well. It peels a perfect zest strip without any pith, NONE... The bottom prongs hold any fruit rigidly in place while the top prong holds the fruit from wobbling. Its noisy, but works really, really fast. Tried an apple it was peeled fast and clean. Hint: Need to make sure the cutting device is set at the thinnest setting which means the spring knob is twisted out so that the holder goes in all the way. Also, start the cutting from the top down which minimizes the inward pressure.

This is the most amazing machine ever invented. What a time saver. We process oranges for freeze drying and I like to freeze dry the peelings for zest. This machine peels the rind off first allowing me to freeze dry it separately from the orange slices. Best time saving machine ever. Would I buy again-you bet

This peels oranges beautifully for candied orange peel. I returned it because it only peels small potatoes. I purchase the large, long russet potatoes, and they won't fit! The arm doesn't go up high enough to insert a long potato. I don't need it for apples because I already have the brilliant red steel peeler, corer and slicer all in one from Amazon.
