Came out of the box ready to use, main pieces are sturdy and comfortable memory foam to keep shape and posture. Neck piece is softer and very comfortable. No weird smells like other memory foam products. Easy to configure in a variety of ways for different positions. Perfect for post-orthopedic surgery recovery requiring upright/reclined sleeping. Height adjustable, materials are soft to the touch and almost “cooling” Velcro on neck piece is rather high, not suitable for shorter patients or more “slouched” posture. But it works fine without it. Not ideal for softer mattresses that sink, harder to keep posture that way.

I sent this to my brother in-law who recently had bypass surgery. He found it to be a blessing. It's adjustable so it was easy to find the perfect angle. Cover is soft,removable and machine washable , he is able to use either in bed or sitting on the couch. It's absolutely as great as I had hoped. Great quality for the price, its comfortable, portable and I'm so happy it's helping.

I used these pillows after surgery when I had to sleep sitting up, and honestly, they were one of the best purchases I made. They helped me rest comfortably without pain and gave excellent support for both my back and legs. They keep their shape, don’t flatten out, and are extremely comfortable even for long hours. The product is very well-made and extremely comfortable. It does have all the pieces to aid a good night sleep at a price that can’t be beat!! Unfortunately, it was way too narrow for my family, even my mother who is a the smallest in my family, felt her arms are hanging outside the wedge. I think this may be better for younger children on a twin bed. Since I bought another @24” wide which is also very well made & comfortable, I will be returning this for that wider one I bought @24” wide for my family.

I am 4 months post tummy tuck with muscle repair, hernia repair and breast lift and I just stopped using the top half of this pillow set, I am still using the leg pillow. This combo was a literal life saver post op. Totally worth the cost. I have a recliner at home but even a few weeks post op I could not get in and out of it myself so I don’t understand the people who said they slept in their recliners unless it was electric and they were able to sit to stand easily on their own, I was not. So having this in my bed I was able to roll to my side and sit up sideways to stand (took a minute at first but was doable with minimal pain) by myself. Sleeping was comfortable. I did use a neck pillow the first couple of weeks in addition to this because I’m a side sleeper and I kept feeling like I wanted to roll off the side of this to get on my side but that was more a personal position preference. I was able to adjust the angle down as I felt more comfortable. I could easily move this to my couch to relax there when I wanted to. Overall a great investment for post abdominal surgery.

This is a must have for post surgical self-care. The material is cushy and supportive. It can be assembled into a couple of different positions for comfort. High quality and I slept through the night after surgery. Highly recommended.

Was a must have for my hysterectomy recovery. Very nice quality. Only downfall about it was it smelt like nasty fish. The covers come off to wash but the cushions also smelt of fish that would not go away. I had to cover them with blankets to try to mask the smell my entire recovery.

I got this set right during a surgery recovery as I had to sleep on my back at an incline. The material is soft enough and I like how versatile it is in terms of adjustability. There are 4 separate parts that can be arranged in different ways to maximize comfort. I know even after I am fully recovered I will continue to use the set

Get these pillows if you are having any sort of operation!!! I got these very last-minute the day before my surgery and boy was am I super thankful they help support your back. Keep my legs elevated. The foam has not gotten down or changed shape! Worth every penny! These pillows also allow me to comfortably sleep on my back.
