Awesome sauce

This is terrible. Also, the it's in plastic (not a glass bottle), which you can't tell from the picture or the description.

Works for my vegan jambalaya
I've never used actual fish sauce, so FWIW, this stuff works for me. When I need fish broth, I use veggie broth and add a splash of this stuff. Does it smell fishy? No. To me, it smells like concentrated soy sauce with a really rich flavor. Be careful not to use too much. It can be overwhelming. It adds the right kind of umamy to my vegan jambalaya., which is basically a regular jambalaya recipe where I replace the meat/fish with TJ soy chorizo, extra firm tofu, and meatless diced "chiqin". The vegan fish sauce just adds a little extra, over just veggie broth.

Happy to have a Vegan option
Really happy this product exists. Made vegetarian Pho yesterday, having this "fish sauce" really helped my broth develop. Soup was great! So happy I found this!

High sodium
SUPERRR high sodium. And as some others have said it's just soy sauce with a lot of salt. I was so disappointed, I should've looked at the ingredients first. Will not be purchasing again.
