Hard to put on. Came without kit. Damaged my casing trying to fit it in.

I don't know if it was someone else's returned item or not but it looked nothing like the picture and didn't even have a clasp. Totally not worth the money and not usable as the strap wouldn't close.

You're likely here, because like myself, you feel that $300 is an insane amount of money to pay for a bit of rubber, fabric, and metal. The TLDR is that this strap fits perfectly and has zero manufacturing defects. If you want more details read on: The reason I bring up the second part, is because a year ago I ordered a strap that was a 1:1 replica of the real thing. It had Omega branding on the clasp and inside of the bands, as well as real sailcloth stitched to the rubber on the outside (pictured in image 2). That strap was about $90 with shipping from a vendor on Etsy... within about five wears, the stitching on the sailcloth started to come undone. I reached out to the vendor who sent me a replacement. The replacement has the same thing happen, though more slowly than the first. This watch is rarely worn and lives inside a case when not on wrist. If you're going aftermarket, buy this strap. It's rubber on the outside, but patterned to look like cloth. It feels the same by touch. This means no concerns about stitching or wear - it will always look perfect. There's no Omega branding anywhere on the strap or clasp, as selling anything with those logos is a no-no. The strap itself feels slightly thinner and more flexible than the real thing, but looks identical on wrist. This is all to say, if you're not going to buy the real one from Omega for $300... buy this one. You won't regret it.
