Baby Night Light, Portable LED Night Light with Adjustable Brightness, Warm White and Cool White for Nursing, Reading (White)

I needed a night light for my bedroom as my baby is still sleeping in the bassinet, we've been dimming our lights but it still wasn't low light enough, and the night lights we have only illuminate the hallways (not good for seeing a baby), this light works perfectly as it can be on the night stand (and not take up much room). It's dim enough to not bother my husband, and I am able to see and feed the baby easily.

We liked the light and it was perfect for our kid’s night light but it broke after the first week-It wasn’t able to charge anymore. We returned it for a new one and the second one came really fast but broke just as quickly as the first. The piece you put the charging cord in broke off and was stuck inside the light. We could hear it rattle around and therefore could not charge that one anymore either. We just returned the second one for a refund.

Updated Review: Great customer service; after posting our first review noting a problem, the seller sent a replacement without us asking. As for the light, it works great next to the bed for nursing or getting up without waking the spouse. We really like the user interface to operating the light.Original Review:The light worked really nicely for the first charge, but then wouldn't recharge.Since it wasn't worth the trouble of sending it back, I checked if it was quickly fixable. The top semi-translucent part can be pulled off the bottom with a little coercion; the parts are held together by the friction of an o-ring type seal, so the parts go back together good as new without any glue. Once apart, there are two layers of circuit boards you can take out, with the bottom one having the USB connector. It was clear the factory solder job on the USB connector was really poor and defective, so I re-soldered it, reassembled everything, and then it charged and worked fine again. The rest of the solder joints and PCB manufacturing looked great, so maybe the USB connector was just put on at a different stage of manufacturing than the rest of the electronic components. Altogether it it took about 10 minutes to fix, which is probably less time than it would take to get my printer to work to make a return label, find another lamp on Amazon, or to write this review, so I guess trying to fix it was the right decision this time.Also, definitely do look at the instructions for use that come with it - I didn't quite figure out everything until glancing at them, after which operation became a breeze.

*UPDATE 5/25/2018*After leaving my review I was contacted by the seller about my issues. I was under the impression that the light would turn fully red as the battery grew close to dying. The reality is that a tiny LED light near the charger port will flash red which isn't very useful but technically does function. The way that you set the brightness so that you can just double tap the top was a little confusing for me to set and took a bit of help from the seller to clarify. Once I combined that advice with the instructions on the paper it came with it finally made sense.Overall I'm very happy with the light and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice nightlight with adjustable brightness, sleep function and rechargeable battery.*Original Review*I can't seem to figure out how to get it to save the lowest brightness setting as the default on position. The touch controls all work decently though sometimes in the dark it can be hard to touch the right spot on the top. I bought this for my wife so she wouldn't have to turn on our super bright bathroom light in the middle of the night and she likes it much better. It has 3 brightness settings and unless I hit the bottom power button to cycle through it will always turn to the brightest setting every time you tap the top. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. I also thought that it was supposed to glow red when the batter was low but instead it just turned off on me mid pee one night which was inconvenient. Charging it it also blinked on and off which charging I had to cover it to sleep.

This product is great and exactly what I'm looking for to use for night time baby feedings. Unfortunately, every night it turns to the pulsate mode automatically and wakes my husband and I up. Really unusable when that is the case.

Edit after my 1 star review: The company was nice enough to reach out to me and send a replacement unexpectedly. So far so good on this one, I purchased another brand from amazon after returning the first one and the quality doesn’t compare to this one at all. This one is way more heavy and looks to be better made. I’ve been using it about 3 days on the same charge and it’s working perfectly. Nursing my newborn with this makes it a breeze especially with the dim option.Stopped working after it died the first time. I just turn it on to go to the bathroom at night maybe 1 minute tops and it died in 6 days. Such a disappointment I charged it and now it won’t turn on at all. Returning ASAP

Updated 12/10/18. The customer service is great but I’m so frustrated with the product. After receiving a new lamp, within a few weeks it was doing the exact same thing as what I noted in my first review :( It’s not intuitive how to change the settings and the light will randomly turn off or start flashing. Again... SUPER frustrating when you’re trying to put a baby to sleep in the middle of the night.You get what you pay for. Only works SOME of the time. Dissatisfied.Updated review: the customer service for this product has been excellent. I received a new lamp only days after writing this review, and it works as expected. It’s the perfect night light for a nursery.Took it out of the package and charged it. Turned it on and was able to change from the bright white light to the yellow light. This worked for a couple months, but now the light flashes a strobe light and it’s permanently stuck on. The physical power button works, but that’s the only thing I can use to get this lamp to stop flashng! The touch button doesn’t work either. Super frustrating, especially when you’re nursing and trying to figure out how to keep your baby calm with a flashing strobe light :(

Love this light. Perfect for my mother to get to the bathroom safely but not keep her awake. I keep it plugged in during the night and it provides exactly the amount of light needed for safety. I'll buy another one when this burns out but it's been over a year, I think, so I'm very impressed. I didn't expect it to last this long, but it works well so I guess I got lucky. I love it!
