Incorrect description
It’s ridiculous to say this antenna is a yagi, it is actually two discone antennae mounted end to end inside the tubes, if you want to check this out look up ‘ bow tie antenna ‘look it up on google. To say it has 46 Dbi gain means that for every 3 Dbi the signal is doubled , so signals would be doubled over 15 times . So believe that if you like infact a bow tie antenna has a very wide frequency resonance but very little gain. For it to be of any use it would have to be mounted vertically? Look it all up you don’t have to believe me. Hey I’ve done it for you 46 dBi in linear terms Antenna gain expressed in dBi is referenced to an isotropic radiator (the theoretical antenna that radiates equally in all directions). To turn a dBi value into a plain‑old multiplication factor (the linear gain), use the standard conversion: [ G_{\text{linear}} ;=; 10^{\frac{G_{\text{dBi}}}{10}} ] Plugging in 46 dBi: [ G_{\text{linear}} = 10^{\frac{46}{10}} = 10^{4.6} \approx 3.98 \times 10^{4} ] So 46 dBi corresponds to roughly 39 800 × the power that an isotropic antenna would radiate in the same direction.
