So good!
Was sooo happy to find these here! For years, I've been having to drive all the way to Vons/Pavilions to get oysters in a can to pan fry in corn meal. It just doesn't taste right if you use fresh oysters! These are just perfect-briney and oystery lol, they hold up well when you fry in a shallow pan. Delicious! Also good right from the can with lemon.

Excellent product if you’re like seafood.
If the people like this product or even like this kind of seafood they should never think twice about buying it is because it can pair it with anything you could just imagine and because of the texture and all the other great qualities you are coming along when eat it this product.

Kind of What I Expected
This is about managing your expectations. I’m from NJ and have access to fresh oysters all the time so trying canned oysters was an experiment. The oysters are large, good quality and all were intact for a nice presentation. If you know the difference between east coast and west coast oyster varieties these are like the west coast varieties. They are plump and on the sweet side so if you’re used to east coast varieties as I am don’t expect a firm texture and briny flavor. Don’t overcook them and they will not be rubbery. As for this girl, I’m going to stick with raw on the half shell but these are a good value for the money.

canned Oysters - awful
these canned Oysters - we very disappointing bad.... don't know is bad or really bad.... tried to prepare them, even though I had doubts.... the appearance and the smell was off...way off.. but still went ahead... pure gag... sick all afternoon and evening.... don't know what was wrong...but for sure not worth the money... The can was in good condtion and they did not sit in the sun... the date was all good... the product was awful

Good for the price. Some of the others out there may be better I just haven't tried them. Worth the money.
