Great but more accessible instructions
Excellent But I need to know how to slow down movement

It works with limitations. Good enough for the price.
It works and it is good value for the price. Can't expect professional level smoothness and performance at this price. If you just want to pan/tilt the camera, it'll get the job done. It can keep working while being charged. So can be used for extended time assuming external power source is avilable. Limitations - It uses stepper motor so the motion at speed level 3 and lower is jerky. - The A-B mode continuous panning takes the shortest path. So the A and B point are always under 180 degrees. Say point A is at 0 degree and point B at 210 degree, it won't rotate for 210 degrees. It'll just take the other path and jus rotate for 150 degrees. - The motion is also not smooth for A-B mode. While changing directions, it'll pause for few moments, start moving, stop again and start again.

Range of tilt is not accurately indicated.
February 17, 2026 It's the device I need, but it was defective in the sense that it thinks 27.3° is 0° level. It will tilt upward to 55.4°, the most range of similar devices. I need to be able to tilt between ~19.4° to ~43.5° to ~47.9° to put my telescope in equatorial mode in the places where I use it. Even if I assume 27.3° is 0° level, it would need to tilt to 73°, but, as mentioned, it only goes to 55.4°. Therefore, I have to tilt it down until is says it's at zero degrees, adjust my ball head tripod with the device mounted until it is level (round bubble level makes this easier, but still a pain), and then I can tilt it back to 47.9° (which is under the max range). I've sent it back, and once I have confirmation and am refunded, I will purchase another. If it works, I'll update this post and improve my rating. 3-stars is kinda generous now. --- March 09, 2026 Got the new one today. Guess what? Defective. Or is it? The max range of this unit is 56.6°, which is more than the previous unit, and fortunately halfway (28.3°) is true level, and like the other unit, tilted fully downward it thinks its 0° level. So, the two things this has going for it is that it has a larger range and halfway between both extremes its level, which makes this one quicker to calibrate on my ball head mount. Something else I've noticed... there are product images missing that used to show the tilt range—~54° fully downward to ~54° fully upward. So, what I think I'm putting together here is, first of all, those images were incorrect, as the entire range is only ~54°. That leaves one thing left to deal with, and that the fact that the full range is 54°, and rather than indicating (e.g., on this unit) +28.3 to -28.3°, it's simply 0° to 56.6°. Knowing this, I can calibrate my ball head at 28.3°, mount the unit at 0°, then proceed to tilt the unit upward until I reach the desired equatorial azimuth. Am I happy about that? No. The only thing I should have to tilt is the unit, not calibrate the ball head to make up for the discrepancy of the unit. Ultimately, I'm going to return this unit and I'll leave my rating at 3-stars because the features of this unit do function well, but level is not accurately reflected as 0°. The only other downside I'd say about this unit is that it's quite heavy. I was going to post photos, but I think I've described everything rather well. Other people seem to be really happy with their units, which leads me to believe they are not using theirs the way I need to use it, which is to know the exact equatorial tilt, and my guess is everyone else it just using their remote to point in a general direction and shoot, or using the auto-pan feature, or using the auto-follow mode and don't care about precise angles. That's cool. But, if you were wanting one to use with your mini telescope, now you know what you're in for.

Don’t buy
Doesn’t work well. Tracking is delayed. Doesn’t track well when you’re more than 10 feet away.

Noise
Overall, a fairly decent product for the money. Feels fairly solid. Does a fairly good job tracking but is a bit jittery. I used a lightweight Sony camcorder and that really helped to reduce the jitter some. Definitely expect some post-production editing especially when it comes to noise. Maybe using an external mic might help but all my video would have been unusable without audio editing. The remote worked well for me and responded nicely. I will overcome the bugs and use it for what I intended i.e. panning shots and some tracking shots. Motion gestures worked well and I found them quite useful. The pros do out way the cons so I would recommend it for most people.
