However, if you follow the clear instructions included in the box, you won’t run into any issues. The pull cord mechanism is smooth and efficient, but it’s important to pull firmly—not aggressively, as if starting a stubborn lawnmower! Once the food starts breaking down, you can continue pulling until you reach your desired consistency. Cleaning & Maintenance Cleaning is super easy. I recommend wiping the bottom of the lid with a damp cloth instead of rinsing it under running water to prevent moisture from getting inside. The rest of the chopper is simple to clean and dries quickly. Final Thoughts Even though I originally bought this for preparing bird chop, I find myself using it for my own meal prep as well! This is an amazing chopper. It chops very well, especially onions AND no tears while doing so!! I highly recommend it. The only little inconvenience is getting the chopped food out as it tends to stick to the raised grooves inside the cutter. A small inconvenience compared to the ease.
