Space Camp [DVD]

a team of space camp students are put together ,a young boy of 12 amongst them who makes friend with a robot "jinx" who befriends the boy and overhears the boy crying to want to be in space and so jinx talks to the nasa computer and rigs the engine test of the space shuttle into an actual take off,now the problem is they are in space and are running out of air,and the female teacher /astronaut has injured herself,its up to the team of kids and jinx to get the team and the shuttle safely back,a great film for all the family

This is a B movie, no doubt about it. It's completely unrealistic and formulaic, but it's a lot of fun. Basically, it's your usual summer camp or school movie with the usual band of misfits except with high tech and the Space Shuttle.

This is a feel good film that takes you back to when you were a kid. Everyone dreams of being something or someone - my dream is to go into space. These kid do it and do it well. All the cast are great and they all have their own different styles, which all work well together. This film is great for a wet sunday afternoon in with the kids.

Classic 80's feel good story. Bunch of kids is put into space by a robot who befriended one of them. However the shuttle isn't preped and they have to try and work out a way home. Loved this firm as a kid and now I watch with my own.

simple good clean fun for children of all ages. bought as Christmas present for my grandson- well, I liked it!

Blast from the past as a bunch of lids get blasted into space in a shuttle that is not fully functional. The kids start off at space camp and the victors of the camps competition get to sit in a shuttle while the engines are tested, but it all goes wrong and they are launched into space. A fun escapist movie great to spend a few hours.

We can not view this dvd as it is us region coded and we have europe region coded dvd player. I would not have ordered it had I known this. Can I return it and get a refund?

Space camp on bluray from the 80s. Spanish release and is in English and works on British bluray players. Great movie

Un film que je ne connaissai pas du tout ! C'est étonant car je suis un grand fan de S-F.On dirait du Spilberg.Mais apparement ce n'est pas delui. L'histoire est celle de jeunes adolescents(es) qui vont faire un stage à la nasa.Une intelligence artificiel entend le plus jeune des participants formuler le souhait d'aller dans l'espace.,Celui-ci ordonne le depart de la navette spaciale,lorsqu'ils se trouvent à l'interieur lors d'une simple visite(.dvd 3700173207646 en français)

Tal y como afirmo en el titular del comentario, decir eso, esta película, que no entro a valorar cinematográficamente, es un pasaporte asegurado a aquellas películas de nuestra niñez de los 80. Generaciones de los 70 no dudéis en adquirir este título. Saludos.

Hätte diesen Film gerne auf deutsch gehabt, da ich kein englisch spreche aber auch im Original ist der Film sehr gut.

I loved the whole movie. Mostly, I loved how a potential disaster could be solved even though it meant their camp instructor and five of the campers took an unexpected trip into space. It even showed how resourceful four teenagers, one tween and their instructor could be in solving the problem of getting back home.
