These fans were brilliant. Using them freestanding to cool a cabinet shelf with a PS5 and there was a massive drop in the temperature. Quiet and solidly built.

Great fans, great price and quiet! I only need the lowest setting and it`s nice and cool in my arcade cabinet

I buy a fair amount of pretty good products from Amazon and am generally too lazy to be enthusiastic enough to leave a review. This however, was worth doing one for. I fitted this to my wall built media cabinet, which has existing fans but was suffering heat buildup around the Devon AV unit. This has completely fixed the issue - the AV unit runs cold now, even turned the main cabinet fans down. Zero vibration or noise. Great, simple solution. Highly recommended (also can run in tandem with the other AC products I already use: controller/thermostat, case fans)

The fans work fine although you can definitely hear them. I had to remove one side of the grills on both as they were resonating with the fans and causing a sine wave sound which was annoying until I figured it out. They move a good amount of air and are keeping my AVR cool which is all I wanted them for.

I bought this to cool my switch rack, fits perfectly and is configurable fan speeds and temperature control is great, the display is clear and easy to use, great bit of kit

This is a day 5 review so keep that in mind. Should anything go wrong I will try and update. I bought these fans to try and cool the inside of my PC, Specifically my 2 fan MSI armour gtx 1080. Playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey on ultra was running the temperature up to an average of 79 peaking at 82 degrees. Still within acceptable limits but high for my liking. Fans arrived and where unboxed, attached and running within 5 minutes of arrival. Running straight from PC USB port. One at front for air in one at rear for exhaust. Set speed to Medium. Game now runs at an average of 74/5 peaks at 78 degrees so greatly improved airflow. Even on high the fans are Super quiet. With one fan at the rear and one at the fron I still had a good amount of cable for further separation should it be needed. Makers state the fans should last up to 67,000 hours and have a two year warranty so more than enough life in them for the money. I would advise buying 120 mm Dust covers should you wish to use these for air intake. I was so impressed I bought another two within days.

I have an aging Denon X4200 and it’s started to cut out after about 30 minutes. It’s always run hot but with the new fans even on low speed it runs very cool and no longer cuts out.

Used to help get rid of hot air from the PS5 and series x. Does its job. Mounted with about a 2 inch gap behind to help push the air out. Powered from a USB mains adapter so I could hide all the cabling behind my unit. The on/off switch is in the middle of both consoles for ease of access. Only visible in the picture because of camera flash, even tho their quite big their discrete and the noise is minimal. They are not silent, because the only thing you can hear when either console is on are these two running. Not noisy by any means but louder than the next gen.. Would recommend as they do their job 😊.

I don't always right a review but was so impress by these fans that I to write a few words. I use these on top a Denon X3400H receiver that only has about 2.5" of space left above the AVR well in the TV unit, so not much airflow even though theirs plenty of space for air flow on the sides of the AVR like most receivers these days theirs no internal fans, so the hot air just dissipates out the top of the AVR naturally and if your units in a TV unit odds are its gonna run quite warm to the touch. These fans work amazing! simply place them on top your AVR (infinity logos facing up) to pull the hot air out of your unit and it will stay nice and cool to the touch. The fans rubber isolation feet are a nice feature, as well as the built in metal fan grills/dust shields (little touches like that along with its ease of use and fair price was the reason I want with this infinity fan set over making a DIY setup using spare PC fans) and the ease of use/versatility is a big plus, being that these are USB fans you can plug them either directly into your AVRs USB port (so they power on with the unit) or into a USB power block plugged into a wall/power-strip and you can simply use the controller to turn them off when not in use or just run them switched on all the time... personally I never use my AVRs USB port so I just plug the fans directly into it and being that I only have a front USB port on my AVR, to keep things as clean as possible I choose to run the cord under the AVR tucked behind one of the AVR feet and out the side of the unit, twist tying the excess wire which leaves the controller nice and handy beside my AVR. I was worried that with the fans on top of my AVR that there wouldn't be enough space left to actually allow the fans to circulate the air out side of my TV unit... there's likely only about 1/2" of space left above the fans but to my surprise even on the low setting they keep my AVR vary nice and cool for hours... vary silent fans and vary efficient I haven't really had the need to even go above the lowest setting to keep my AVR cool, 90% of the time its low and odd times i'll set it to med or high to really exhaust any stagnant hot air that might be inside. Overall I highly recommend these for the price they're a must to keep any of your expensive electronics that run hot nice and cool... its a small investment to prolong the life of your much more expensive gear.

2/11/2021 UPDATE! Just reordered another S7 pair of fans! Andy, I have never met you, but I sure like these quiet fans and continue to recommend these! I have three of these fans in a media closet that is about the size of a tall refrigerator. Inside on shelves I have a high-powered AV receiver, a BluRay player, a Cable TV DVR, and other stuff that is producing an amazing amount of heat. When we built the house the wife wanted all AV equipment hidden, and as an Audiophile I wanted to be able to see what I want to see and hear what I want to hear in the Home theater seating area, but without any extraneous noise. Solution: I bought this item, and set two fans on top of the AV Receiver and a third identical fan on top of the cable box/DVR. Closed the door and waited an hour. Heat load dropped in half. I did not want to just move a hot air around in this large closet, so there is a passive vent installed in the sealing of the closet .... just a simple louvered floor vent like people have in their homes for floor heat. I just waited until the wife unit was out of the house and used one of her good steak knives to saw a hole in the drywall ceiling a drop this Lower cheap floor vent in:) Vacuum the mess up and done. These fans have been running flawlessly for two years now - and my wife, who could hear a mouse fart, has never noticed them. Quality/overall impression: Frankly, I thought these were two cheap to be really durable, but I bought them because at the time they were one of the few USB fan setups with a speed controller, no fan-boi disco light show LEDs, and with a CEC rating. The fans are very quiet, well-made, and have nice rubber anti-vibration feet. I was nervous about leaving cheap fans on 24-7 because the last thing I want to do is have a house fire because the units were wired up by orphaned slave labor recruited from a deplorable third world slum. But those fears were immediately put out of mind when I opened the box upon receipt. Beautiful packing, high quality wiring and fan construction. I am back on their site today reordering a second set to place on my desktop next to my computer workstation. I have a couple of good friends who work designing high end consumer electronics - the really pricy stuff. Both techs told me that placing a good quality cooling fan on an AV receiver can add several years working lifetime to such units. Therefore, I highly recommend these AC Infinity products. Just buy the dual fan setup, set the speed controller wherever you are comfortable and forget about them! (slower is a little quieter, but even on high these were very acceptable for my application) And like I said, I am back today repurchasing another set, which I should have done long ago:) Heat kills electronics. And if you are checking out cooling fans, you already know that stereos, AV equipment and computer gear can generate enough heat to slowly nuke your gear... Next possible project for these.... We have a couple of large walk in closets, which we keep the doors closed on because our ever-curious weenie dogs like to curl up in when we are not home. Anyway, I put the old computer fans, which were too noisy, in the closets to keep the air circulating and not smelling musty when we have been gone for awhile. One of these small fans would be much quieter, and would be strong enough to push all the air it needs to under the closet door to keep things smelling fresh in there - even after we have returned from a couple weeks vacation.
