Ultra-thin mini voice recorder

Excellent recording and sound quality for such a small device, and I was very impressed at how easy it is to use.

It is a fantastic size to fit anywhere and the fact that can be magnetically attached to metal is great. Better placed in a fixed position.

I have used the sound activated tape recorders in the past to record events, conversations or creating voice notes which despite being very effective often the tapes are limited to around an hour of audio and of course are prone to degradation over time. This very small, discreet and magnetically held sound activated recorder is very simple in design but does exactly what it should. Recordings are saved to the built in 16Gb memory and once you're ready to listen to said recording/s you connect this little device via USB to a laptop, PC or if you have a suitable cable can transfer to your smart device/tablet or phone.This is ideally placed within range of sound/conversation as it will struggle if placed at distance from the sound.Once fully charged this sound recorder is easy to use with a simple on/off switch and discreet led light.I'm guessing that the addition of magnetic attaching ability this is something that can be used covertly.The price is relatively good for such a small device that borders, what I'd class as a spy gadget not to mention it's usefulness as a voice note taker which could be placed in your wallet or pocket without the bulkiness of a tape recorder.It's currently just under £35 at time of review which is a decent price to pay.My only concern is the longevity of the small rechargeable battery built in if the device isn't used for some time as I've often found small rechargeable devices often have battery issues after being left un-used for months. This can be avoided by regular charging so I'm told to keep the battery in good condition.If you're looking for a small, discreet, covert sound recorder and have no issues with using a laptop, pc or similar device to transfer the sound files and listen to them externally then this is a great choice at a decent price.

Very handy & helpful

My advice is to buy another product that is accurate in its description. Gives the impression that is voice activated then stops recording – but it doesn’t. It goes on to record in 5 hour slots. Often just white or no noise. It records clearly when it does its job, but out of 15 hours recording got 10 mins of clear recording. V frustrating scrolling through those hours hoping not to miss anything. I worked with the business to resolve issues but they couldn’t and by then too late to reject with Amazon. So do your testing within the 30 day rejection phase and if same issues, at least you can return it.
