I learned of Elchim from multiple professional hair stylists and they swear by them. It has been used every day by myself and my wife. It is powerful and the concentrator is highly effective. The heat is great without being too hot to hurt the hair (some Rusk models are far too hot even though they are recommended by Wirecutter). The build quality is first-rate and the removable lint catcher is very useful for cleaning. The best part about Elchim is that they stand behind their products and will repair them at very low cost. After 6 years of use, our Dress Code's cable had some cracks and the lint catcher also broke. I emailed Elchim and they said "send it in with a $28 check"). I sent it in. Two weeks later, the Dress Code came back with a brand new cable with a new lint catcher. This is how it should be. These dryers are made to last and are repairable. This is a sustainable practice that is both good for the consumer and good for the environment. I expect that we would have another 6 years of use of this hair dryer. Highly recommended. The best hair dryer I’ve ever owned
The best hair dryer I’ve ever owned. As far as I’m concerned this is better than the Dyson because it has a cool shot. This throws my hair in half the time and I’m so happy I purchased it. I promise if you get this you will not regret it. Worth every penny.

Non-frizzing light weight infrared hair dryer
Love that it had a removable lint catcher on it for easy cleaning. Not as loud as my last one, and dries my hair faster with less frizz .

Best hair dryer ever
This is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. High head and very powerful. I have thick hair and it takes forever to dry. I can dry my whole head with this dryer in 20 min. It is well worth $100!!!! I highly recommend this Elchim hair dryer!!!

Amazing blowdryer
I love this blow dryer. I’ve tried a few different ones before but this one is definitely the best: lightweight, not too loud, and fast-drying.

Does not last
I loved this dryer. I had used Solano dryers for years and thought I'd try this. Lighter weight, a bit more power, and easy on the hair. BUT it only lasted just short of 2 years!! I use it once, maybe a touch up as well and care for it, no abuse. It only works on High Heat and full power also is getting a strange smell ?? Time for a new one and back to Salono!

My second one. I still have the first which I have had for 6+ years and really like it. Got another for a second home.

Horrible Quality
I have had several Elchims over the years. They are traditionally known for their power and heat and typically last 2 - 3 years. This one was different. It lasted two months and lost almost all power. I was informed by Amazon to contact the manufacturer as it was under warranty and they demanded that I send it back with a check for $15 so they could see what was wrong with it and determine if I had dropped it (in other words, if I was lying). I told them I cannot do this as I cannot be without a dryer and I also didn't feel like it was appropriate. He responded by saying that they are doing what "any other existing company" does. What a ridiculous statement. I am left with an expensive, two month old, inoperable hair dryer and will be looking to switch to a new brand. Do NOT go near this vendor. They are obviously selling faulty products that last just beyond the 30 days available to return on Amazon. Waste of time and money!!
