GUERRA JUAN LUIS ASONDEGUERRA TOUR (CD+DVD) (F) Review: A HUGE PARTY! - Witness why a crowd of more than 50 thousand people didn't move from their sites even with such a wild rain! This is an album I had to have, first because that was a memorable concert and second because I Was There! I enjoyed viewing the DVD as much as I enjoyed it live. Arts and extras are superb, the video is phenomenal and the Dolby Digital audio was captured at its best. A flawless Juan Luis Guerra, backed up by his legendary band 4-40, the choristers Roger, Juan, Janina and Adalgisa, and guests like Juanes and Anthony Romeo Santos, are all here performing at this huge rain party, in the last stop of the ASONDEGUERRA tour held at the Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo in June 16, 2012. The CD is also as good and includes some extra tracks. Highly Recommended! To desertcart: It is not in DVD-Audio format (which comes on a single disc). The visual and sound quality of this DVD is very good. The songs on the DVD are excellent! The excitement of the crowd and the band is contagious. The rain adds a special effect to the ambiance. This is a great CD and DVD (separate discs) collection! The concert is amazing! It is so exciting, it makes you want to stand up and dance in your living room right in front of the T.V. If you are a Juan Luis Guerra fan, you should definitely get this. It includes his best songs (classics and new ones). I highly recommend it.

Great show and music
Juan Luis Guerra is a superb musician and this DVD is testament to it. The show was accomplished despite a tremendous rainfall that lasted the whole show but it did not detract from the great show produced. Those who like merenques, bachatas and ballads by Juan L Guerra, will love this dvd.

Great DVD/CD combo
Great DVD concert. Do wish, the cd wouldve contained all the songs from the DVD. Only 3 songs were not on the cd, but they're classics.

Excellent Live Album
I gave this Cd 5 stars because I've been a Juan Luis Guerra Fan for a long time and this Album exceeded my expectations. Great Album and nice colaborations, Juanes does a nice Job as well Romeo Santos. I would really recomend this album to anybody who follows these artists...

I love me some Guerra
WOW! I love me some Guerra, but this one is a cut above. The energy and the band are unmatched compared to any live album I've heard. Hats off to the tech team as well. Great recording and video production. Considering the challenges with the rain, its down right AMAZING! You must buy this one.

Evidente che "concerto bagnato, concerto fortunato" possa applicarsi anche in questo caso, dopo la fortunata performance di Jamiroquai qualche anno fa sotto il diluvio a Verona, Juan Luis ripete nella sua Santo Domingo una grandissima prestazione laddove emerge tuttto il suo sottovalutatissimo talento !!! un artista che parla di argomenti sociali dolorosi a ritmo di merengue e che in Italia fece una apparizione 5 anni fa all'idroscalo di Milano !!!! il concerto in questione è imperdibile !!!!
