I bought this to check the blade angle on my lawn mowers, and it works VERY well. I feature a lot of mower reviews on my YouTube channel @LawnandOrderTexasEdition, so having a precise, durable tool like this really matters. The white-on-black display is incredibly easy to read — even in outdoor lighting — and the accuracy seems spot on. The metal rulers feel sturdy and give the tool a solid, professional-grade feel. This digital angle finder has become one of my most-used tools in my fabrication shop—hands down. I’ve tried other brands, but they couldn’t measure up. I sent them all back. But this Klein tool is a different story—it’s precise, dependable, and incredibly easy to use. Whether I’m building trailers, fabricating spiral staircases, or welding custom handrails, this angle finder has been a game-changer. The accuracy is spot-on, giving me the confidence I need when measuring complex angles. Adjustments are fast, and the digital display is easy to read, even in less-than-perfect lighting. A quality tool with easy to read graduations and an easy to use angle finder. Digital LCD is easy to read in artificial light. Don't think it was wise to use the same button for on/off and zero reset. Long press for on/off, short press to re-zero. I'll get used to it over time, but I must have reset zero when the rule was not at zero the first 15 times I turned it off. Anyway, other than that, operation is smooth and intuitive. Accuracy is perfect as verified with carpenter square, protractor, and miter gauge. Packaging is horrible and dangerous to open. Gotta keep all those Amazon warehouse shoplifters at bay!

Wow, I love this product. I know some professional woodworkers would find it superfluous and it’s not always 100% perfectly accurate, but it’s pretty darn close. For my woodshop class, this tool made measuring and marking angles to cut on the table saw and miter saw so much easier. I definitely recommend it for fellow perfectionists.

This tool has allowed me to make my outside corner miters as close to perfect as they can get. Power on, calibrate to zero, shove it on a corner, hold, press the convert button, set your saw, make the cuts.

I am a hobbyist woodworker in a one-car garage shop. I don't know if this is a good tool when exacting accuracy is needed, but for what I need, verifying 22.5, 30, and 45-degree angles, it's excellent. I'm sure it does a lot more than I am using it for, but in my limited experience, I give this a solid recommendation.

Update: My previous review is still below; but my replacement was worse. It measured slightly better from closed to 90 coming in at 0.3-0.4 out; which is still out of the +/-0.2 tolerance in their documentation. But measuring from zeroing at open flat (180 open) it was a full 1.5 degrees out. Just for context, I am the quality manager at a machine and fab shop and followed ournormal calibration procedure for protractors. It's a shame this doesn't do it's job properly because it's well made otherwise. Original Review: This feels well constructed and has a lit display which is nice but unfortunately it checks 0.5 degrees out at 90, when the paperwork that came with it says it's accurate to +/- 0.2. Less important, the LCD display was mounted crooked; makes it look crappy but it's still functional. I'm going to return this one and get another in hopes that I just got a bad one because it does feel well made otherwise. I will update my rating when I get the new one.

I do a lot of woodwork and needed an accurate angle finder and as always Klein deliver there products are well built and made to last and so easy to read so yes I’m very happy with my purchase

Very impressed with the Klein tools Digital Angle Finder. Klein always makes amazing tools. Build in Vietnam. If you want a great angle finder to save you a bit of time this is a great tool for the job.
