Bought this to power my screen for my camper camera, plugs into my usb port and maintains voltage for the screen to operate. Very compatible for not just the camera but other devices as well. Cord has plenty of length and like that it shows the voltage. For the money I would definitely buy again and recommend

Works great for what I needed it for. I wanted to replace my DC plug for my gun safe led lights as the original plug was bulky and took up too much space on the built in power strip so I wanted something that took up less space and came across this and it worked out perfectly. Quality seems good and is able to power up the led lights in my safe.

I was quite happy to find that this small unit not only lives up to its specs (12 volts @ 1 amp) but also displays this on a digital display. It will start to drop just a bit once it hits around 980 mA and it Will drop out if you exceed 1 amp by even 100 mA. Also note that if yo run it close to the maximum, it will run quite warm. This didn't seem to effect its performance though. I was using it to power a portable DVD player. It ran needing about 670 mA to 800 mA depending on whether the volume was low or high and if I was using a Fire stick or not. It was pulling about 1.3 to 1.7 amps from the USB source which in this case was a battery bank. In my case, the included adapter didn't fit my player, but I didn't expect it to. You can find adapters on Amazon. Just be aware that this units polarity is the more common tip +. If you have a tip - device, you will need to get an adapter to reverse the polarity or cut the cable and do it yourself which will void the warranty. This small converter does work very well for extended periods of time and I've been very happy with it. Just be aware that it will not exceed 1 amp. It also won't exceed a 2.4 amp draw from your source. So, it's also quite efficient. At this price you really can't go wrong.

I have other products of this brand and they are fine. This one is also “fine”, thus 4 stars. I was wishing for a USB C but that doesn’t seem to be available. It does work as advertised when kept in its power ratings. However, it also does seem to come back on after being turned off with the switch when the power supply to the USB port is cycled. This would seem to cause unexpected power drains.

This thing is great! It seems to be really high efficiency because it barely gets warm. My laptop doesn't have a 4G card in it and I needed some way to have cellular Internet on the go that's more reliable than using a phone for a hotspot. I am using this cable to power a Cal-Amp Vanguard 5530 modem which gives me about 20mbps up/down with strong AT&T signal. All in it's about 5 watts of power, this cable is rated for 10, it stays very cool as a result. I am also very happy with the build quality. This is a perfect product.

Amazing! It works well with Cudy 4G router. Now I can power up my Cudy 4G router from a USB power bank! It runs Cudy router for 16 hrs. I don't need to worry about internet outage anymore!
