Down Alternative Twin Size Blanket for Bed, Satin Trim, Blue

I purchased a White/ King. Received on August 5th - put it in the washer and dryer. Currently in bed and OMG! So Soft and light!! This is just what I wanted for the summer. Major difference. My bed feels cool. This is a a must buy for hot sleepers or those who experience hot flashes like myself. It also fits the bed very well.

I've been using this blanket for just over a week now and have enjoyed it since first opening it.I sleep hot, so the most important thing I was looking for was a lightweight blanket that would breathe. My main comforter is a "Natural Comfort" all seasons fill and is much too hot and unbreathable when the window's closed in a 73F house at night. There's another blanket on Pacific Down that's very similar but it was triple the price, so I decided to give this a chance to try it out before upgrading to a higher quality blanket in the future. Since I'm obsessed with temperature, here's an idea of the settings I've been using the blanket in so far: -Warm outside (~75F+) window shut. ~71-74F in the house with a tiny fan on. -Colder (nice) outside, ~50F, window open. House at 71-74, fan on again. Here are some of my thoughts: PROS: -It -is- comfy! It's decently soft and feels good to sleep under. -It keeps me, who's very sensitive about my sleeping temperature, at a good warmth/coolness during the night even with the window shut! -It breathes. I haven't woken up in the middle of the night feeling too hot at all since we bought this, when previously I couldn't get a decent night of sleep for weeks due to being too hot. -The sateen edges feel great! -Has been comfortable to sleep with (without any other sheets/etc) in temperatures ranging from the low 50F's to mid 70F's! CONS: -Not much of a problem, but it's not as white as it shows in the photo. I picked the ivory option and instead of looking a nice grayish off-white color, it's got a much stronger yellow look and is a bit more matte instead of shiny, which makes it look a little dingy. But it was only 30 bucks, so I don't mind. I don't think it's as pretty as it was in the picture but it's a good blanket to try out before upgrading to a high quality expensive version. -As the temperature sank below 50 the other night, I woke up to take a drink and noticed that I was a bit too cold. It wasn't cold enough to wake me, but the blanket may not be able to keep one warm enough in temperatures 40F and below, which is normal from a lightweight blanket. Once the temperatures are consistently below 50 at night then I'll bring back out my old Natural Comfort all seasons fill comforter. -The main part of the blanket (the middle, not the sateen edges) isn't as soft and luxurious as it looks. It's better than average but you can feel the subtle roughness of fabric when touching it. When you've got it on your body/sleeping with it then it's not noticeable, but running your fingers over it will confirm that it is indeed a $30 blanket. I'll be using this until it gets a bit too cold, when winter truly hits, then i'll switch back to the other comforter. I'd recommend this blanket to anyone who sleeps hot and wants something that'd normally cost 60 bucks at bed bath and beyond for half the price. I may buy a full-size for my boyfriend since he's taken a liking to it and has tried to steal it a few times! I'd say it's 5/5 for a relatively cheap blanket, met all of my expectations and surprised me with how well it worked!

The weight, texture and color of this comforter is perfect for my needs. I searched multiple listings and sources before I found the one that was just right. Needed a dark teal, )not bright turquoise or green or blue), and this one nailed it. Also I was looking for a very light weight summer bed cover but didn't want a stretchy or loose weave fabric that would show every inconsistency in my linens underneath. It IS a lightweight quilt, so if you're looking for a winter blanket, this is not for you unless you plan to layer your bedding materials. The weight is a good thing if that's what you're looking for, so no stars removed for that. The texture is luxurious and soft and doesn't look cheap. I was willing to pay 3 times the price for the right quilt and was pleasantly surprised to find one at such a great price. It lays nicely on the bed without being too stiff or fluffy. Was creased when I received it. That should was out. My cat seems to approve. Love the wide satin trim too. Adds a nice finish to the whole effect. We'll see how it holds up to my cat and washing.

This blanket is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight for summertime, the satin edge makes it look expensive and the material is very soft and comforting. I always order a twin instead of a throw because I sleep with it and I need it long enough to cover my entire body. Small enough to carry around like a throw but large enough to use as a sleeping blanket. The reason I only gave it one star was because it does show hair and fuzz a lot. I have two cats and the cat hair is real.

Bought to replace a similar blanket we had for 15 years. Excellent feel. Breathable and not to heavy. Stays cool in hotter months but warm enough for winter as well.

The blanket is indeed soft, launders beautifully according to manufacturers directions. I also use a liquid Downey fabric softener with bedding. It is lightweight.

This blanket lives up at all the excellent reviews. It is well-made, attractive, and provides warmth and comfort while being lightweight.

This blanket is thin and lightweight and a perfect summer blanket. I ordered Teal but the blanket I received is dark green. It is more of a deep forest green, which is not a summer color. I will keep the dark green blanket because I have used it but I wanted something summery for this time of year, so I deducted stars for the misrepresentation of the color. Otherwise, the blanket is as described. It is thin and light and appears to be well made. If color were not an issue for me, I would have given it five stars.

So comfy

La tela es muy suave y a pesar que es delgado, es calientito. El color es lindo, viene bastante amplio y no se le hacen bolitas con el uso.

Dokusu ve kullanınız çok güzel

High quality bedspread. It’s nice and thick but not too thick. It is a lovely pink colour. Looks so expensive. Excellent quality for what you pay for!

We used this as a summer bed cover over a fleece blanket. It is quite light and thin, not meant to be used alone as a comforter. The colour is gorgeous, deep and rich. Very little lint in the dryer after machine washing. Washed up well. Looks beautiful on our bed.
