Hopefully I never have to use this but it's good to have. I've got some molle kit and this fits nicely inside. I would recommend it for a pocket, but in or on a bag it works perfect. It's well designed and about the same form factor as other TCCC devices. The XT is a good price for the average prepared citizen, or for someone who doesn't want to take all their nice kit to the range.

The pull till it clicks, then use the windlass, makes this tourniquet easy to use and quick to apply in stressful situations. There are other well made tourniquets out there as well, but that “click” function is an upgrade that makes sense, especially for those who are not regularly in situations where this may be required, or where refresher training is not as regular as it should be.
