Zaphir-Shanti: 'Crystalide', Windchime, Carillion

I really love this, once I got over the shock that I did not receive all of the chimes. I had thought that from the picture this would be a string of six chimes. However it is really pretty and makes a lovely sound. I had it outside for a bit but have bought it in as I am not convinced it is weatherproof.

These chimes have prongs inside that are struck by a glass disk when caught be the wind. Due to its structure it creates harmonics, tones that arent even part of the chimes and sounds incredible with pretty extra notes in the mix.The outer is covered in a marbel paper. Beautifull but not weather resistant. I take mine out with me to enjoy in the garden, then take it back in again. You could probably varnish it but its not really meant to be left outside all year long.These chimes can also be played as an instrument by twirling the tube housing by hand. Its works well in percussion or sound healing sessions!Yes. Pricey! But worth it all the same!
