Fountain Protection Cover - Small

Bought this cover as it was the one recommended to protect the Kelkay water feature we have. The quality is no better than a cheap all purpose cover we got from Wilco for our bbq. It looks to be made of the same plastic/material. The big difference was the price. The Wilco cover was £4. The Kelkay £15! Don’t waste your hard earned on the Kelkay cover.

Other purchasers have complained about the size of the cover: it is big, no enormous, for the water feature I purchased - the Como Springs model. It's also rather stiff, making it difficult to handle. However, my wife created some pleats and used gaffer tape to make them hold. She also cut off some the bottom of the cover and folded down the top to get a better fit and added some heavy stones around the bottom to make sure it sits properly. This all worked well, the cover is doing its job and I expect it will last well. The feature is now in winter mode - all water removed from the base reservoir and bowls above, pump removed and cleaned all ready for Spring. As an aside, I found removing the inlet cover from the front of the pump very difficult and had to ask the garden centre staff to show me how to do it. The very helpful staff member admitted a lot of purchasers had found this a problem. He showed how it is done (not without some difficulty) and I hope I shall be able to do it myself when next needed. Overall, the cover is a bit pricy for what it is and needs a bit of DIY to get it to work effectively but at the end the cover should do its job well.

Great product, protecting my water feature from our winter weather, good size, good protection.

Delivery from the supplier was quick and efficient HOWEVER......Very disappointed, the cover is absolutely HUGE, although the small size was recommended by Kelkay as the perfect fit for the Kelkay water feature we purchased from our local garden centre, it is absolutely no use for what it was bought for - BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE SIZING.

I ordered this item on 20th of Jan late evening and it arrived very quickly i.e. 22nd a.m. A great cover for my water feature and despite it being described as 'small' it more than adequately covered all of the fountain.
