easyCover camera case for Nikon Z8 black

Arrived before stated time and was very well packaged . Good product.

I really like this cover for my z8, it's tough yet not so tough you struggle to get it on the body. I had to drill a small hole for my L bracket lock pin to fit through (not specifically meant to be used with a L bracket). I will need to get a 2.5mm longer L bracket screw just for piece of mind. I gave 4 stars only because I didn't like the look of the camo option, if the camo variant was more realistic like the lens covers then I definitely would of got that instead of the black. I may yet have ago spray painting the camera cover with camo spray paint.

I had an Easycover on a previous camera, so eagerly awaited the release of this model as I felt exposed to scrapes and bumps on my Z8 when out doing wildlife photography. It's as expected, thick silicone that gives good protection and mostly doesn't impede operation. You won't get scratches, and you won't wear off the printed lettering on your camera with use. There are large cutouts given the design of the camera - the card flap notably remains unprotected, and it may be worth getting a cheap 'skin' kit then only using this part to cover it. I found that the ridges of silicone round the rear command dial however stopped me easily being able to operate it. I had to use a safety razor to shave off a good millimetre or more of silicone on both ridges, and now it is fine. I've raised that with Easycover, who said they will see if the mould can be tweaked for future releases, but no guarantee of that. It's a simple thing to do however, so not a reason not to buy.

This cover fits my Z8 well and gives me a little more peace of mind when out and about with it. However I did find it awkward to use the front (shutter speed) dial due to the thickness of the cover. I therefore had to snip a bit out to allow me to access it. But, other than that pleased, thanks.

Ottima cover in silicone che si adatta perfettamente alla mia Nikon Z8. Facile da mettere e togliere protegge la camera da urti accidentali. Quando viaggio tengo sempre le mie fotcamere a portata di mano e con queste custodie sono tranquillo perchè sono protette.

Very good as long as you don't want an L Bracket with it. I think I voided the warranty to get one to fit.

Great case. the cutout for memory cards are perfect. But, my only complaint is that the icon is a little hard to see.

This is the second cover by easycover that I have gotten. The first was for a Z6ii back in 2022, and the Z6ii still looks very good today with the cover still intact. It is a great cover! very good material and still not adding bulk to the camera (Nikon Z8).It fits well, is functionally nice and grippy, and covers the camera well. Overall, very good value for money. Buy one to protect your camera!!
