Klipsch R8 SW – Speaker, Black

A down-facing sub, really decent sound for the price. Be careful to switch off at the sub before switching off the amp otherwise you get a disconcerting "pop". Harmless to the sub but it can take you unawares.

Been using the R-8SW for a few days now, and the addition of a sub-woofer really enhances the overall sound. I added this to the R-15PM desktop speakers. NOTE: this item ships with a US plug (I live in the UK), and no sub-woofer cable, hence I had to buy these to use the product.

Very tight Bass as you would expect from Klipsch - perfect size for a small room

The Klipsch R-8SW 8 inch active sub does what it says on the tin and priced very well for under £200. It will compliment your speakers however minimal or more so. It takes some adjusting and fiddling with at first. Once you figure out its compatibility at different levels, you’ll be glad you invested the time. It makes a big difference from the initial listening experience. It sits well tucked away and delivers when it needs to. Don’t expect revelations, especially at this price point, but it will enhance your system.

Je cherchais un caisson de basse pour venir en soutien de mon ampli Denon PMA 50 et de mes enceintes Klipsch (RM 14). Discret, bonne qualité de finition et une puissance impressionnante pour ce prix et ce gabarit. On est très loin des caissons vendus avec les kits home cinema de base. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Ho acquistato questo subwoofer collegandolo ad un amolificatore della Denon , una vera bomba bassi strabilianti e non c’è minima distorsione . Ha reso il mio home teatre spettacolare . Li consiglio a tutti

Excellent quality for the prize, the bass is deep, smooth and very powerful (perhaps too powerful for my 20sq m room) and I really like the minimalistic design with the hidden woofer facing the floor. The auto mode might not be always 100% working as it takes some time for the sub to activate itself in this mode while a track is already playing. You can just leave the sub switched on permanently to avoid this. Still not a big deal for me and would definitely recommend this sub.

Muy buena calidad de sonido para un modelo compacto. Complemento ideal para juego de altavoces pequeños. Es una elección adecuada para un ambiente de dimensiones reducidas. Excelente relación calidad-precio. De más está decir de que el envío fue muy rápido y llegó en perfectas condiciones.

Ho acquistato questo subwoofer per un accompagnamento a delle casse amplificate della stessa marca per ascoltare musica, venivo da un precedente sub di altra marca che quando vedevo i film faceva letteralmente vibrare piatti e bicchieri ma a me serviva dare corpo a dei diffusori più piccoli ed ho centrato lo scopo, sono molto soddisfatto della sua potenza non invadente
