IKOVWUK 13.8 ft Telescoping Laser Level Pole with Tripod

This kit has some pros and cons. The tripod is crazy narrow for something meant to hold an often heavy (for a decent one like my Huepar) laser level several feet up in the air. Inside it might be OK, but with any kind of breeze in a structure not yet closed-in, it's at risk of falling over. That being said the rest of the kit is really well done, especially given the price. The extension rods have threaded inserts with wide, flat mating surfaces and generous shoulders on the threads so there's absolutely no play when they're screwed together. And the "foot" has sort of a spring-loaded bottom section and a rubber pad for the top. I've had this set up under ridge beams in 30mph winds and it's very rigid - no danger of falling over or detaching. I like the micro-adjustment in the holder arm as well. It's not QUITE as fine as others I've used but at a fraction of the price I'm happy to spend a minute or two getting it where I want it.

If you’re doing tile work, this is a great product for raising and lowering your level lines as you install your tile. I found it to be a quality product and very useful. This tool definitely makes the difficult job of tiling a little bit easier. Anyone doing a DIY tiling project will appreciate having this.

Sturdy, but standing on its own, it sways a little in the wind. Spring load and extension are very helpful when it isn't.

The IKOVWUK telescoping laser level pole with tripod is a great addition to allow easier placement of a laser level in various types of situations. The pole sections easily screw together, however, the first time you use this one must think about the sequence of assembly if you are using the tripod or the “quick adjust bracket” that has a spring foot. I found that the tripod is somewhat small to use the pole above six feet since placing an expensive laser level near the top make the assembly somewhat top heavy and the spread of the legs are not large to provide a stable platform. When you need to place the laser level higher that is where the pole assembly with the rubber head and the spring loaded foot assembly is the answer to provide a stable platform for the laser level. For a 9 foot ceiling you need to assemble four pole sections, extend the base section using the retractable extension tube, and use the spring pedal to lock the pole assemble between the floor and the ceiling. The pole assembly is locked to allow the laser level to be installed on the quick adjustment bracket and position the laser and fine tune the height. This IKOVWUK telescoping laser level pole with tripod will be used many times due to its functional design. The storage case is a plus. You will not regret purchasing this product.

The materials are awful. The fixing bolt broke first, then the bottom part fell off, and finally the aluminum rail on the main support snapped. The first one lasted less than a month; I replaced it, but the new one is just as bad.
