Just right for a short stay in Berlin. Knew where my passport and papers where, while busy walking around the city.

Unfortunately, the new Canadian passports have become far more susceptible to water damage since their redesign in 2013. That is why I bought this case. People often find it funny but after working in a service office where I saw damaged passports daily, I wouldnt keep mine in anything less protective. Keeping it in the case also helps me find it as well. So far I have travelled to Japan, most of southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand with my passport in this case and it has held up incredibly well. For reference, it can fit two Canadian passports (new version) but it's an incredibly tight squeeze. I would recommend just getting two separate ones to avoid causing anything inside your passports from being bent / squished (ie. when they staple visas to pages).

Water tight, strong plastic. It feels solid when you close it and I have not had and damage to the paper work/id i've kept in it.

Not waterproof. It would work to keep papers dry in the rain but don't take it swimming or to the beach. Had to buy a different waterproof case on the trip after drying everything out.

The case is waterproof and can hold the cards content of most wallets. However after about 9 months the metal if the upper hinge fell out
