Bahco 24 inch raker and peg toothed bowsaw blades
Excellent blades so far. Cutting logs up to 9" thick is enjoyable again (at 75). I now have 2 new Bahco blades. A raker toothed one is in a new Bahco bowsaw frame and I like the smooth tensioner. A peg toothed one is in my old frame and replaces a cheaper hard point blade which, after about 1000 cuts of 5-6" dried Lawson Cypress logs wouldn't cut deeper than an inch no matter how tight the wing nut and the blade couldn't be reset. I always despised our throwaway culture but I'm hopeful these blades will outlive me and I won't need to confess in a negative review. I now know why my grandfather asked me to cut his logs. I was ignorant about sharpening or setting them and struggled for years with all his old saws until I bought a new hard point one and suddenly realised the fault hadn't been mine. It's too early for a proper review but I'm recommending to friends that these aren't expensive and cut so easily that no-one has to worry about building big muscles and no, I'm not trying to con a wife or young ones into cutting the logs!

Bahco bow saw blades. Just brilliant.
Bahco bow saw blades in a different league to others. Astonishingly good at cutting really quickly and easily. Wish I'd known this all the years I've been using standard blades that cut in a semi circle.

Fits Gerber Folding camp saw
I was looking to have a dry wood blade for fire wood option as well as the OEM blade that has raker teeth designed more for wet wood so have both bases coffered for wild camping. I can confirm that this blade DOES FIT the Gerber saw with no real issues. The only issue is as it is not rounded at the ends it can leave a bit of a sharp point sticking out when folded. This is easily rectified with a metal file however and a few minutes. Maybe do it while sitting around a nice camp fire. :-) As for quality of cutting I have not used this blade yet as not allowed outside due to lock down but having previously worked as a conservation volunteer leader doing many conservation activities including a lot of rhododendron and laurel bashing Bacho blades were always a go to so can confirm they usually are of excellent quality. This is only true though if the right blade is used for the right wood and these blades on dry seasoned wood (been dead for 1 year +) are perfect but will struggle if using on fresh or still living "green' wood. Hope this helps. As a side for people who want option of metal blade "just in case needed' I have also purchased the bacho scandiflex 300 blades and although the holes are too small initially to fit the screw through, a couple of minutes with a drill (or possibly a round metal file) also allows these to fit and takes up no extra weight. :-)

Bahco Peg Tooth Bow saw blade
I bought this blade to cut up some old wood that had been lying in my back garden for quite sometime but was too long to get it into my recycling bucket! It did the job required without any problems at all!

Don't waste your time with a blade that has rakers in it. I learned the hard way they don't cut well at all. This blade works great and cuts through with a lot less effort.

Great quality replacement blade
I bought the Bahco saw and thought it prudent to buy a replacement blade soon after. Great quality just like the saw. Happy buyer here!
