Diamine Fountain Pen Bottled Ink, 30ml - Graphite

Love Diamine ink. There are so many colors! This is a very pretty and fun ink that you can use in public, I think, for a bit of whimsy without being extremely "out there." I've used it for a couple of letters, and the recipients enjoyed it. And it looks better when you spill it on your hands than black does.I appreciate that Diamine inks are much less expensive than most others, and I think you really get value for your money.

I like this color! It's darker than a true yellow and leans more orange. However, the ink can be quite light and hard to read depending on the pen. It dries fast on paper, no drying in the pen, and is so great for the price.

Beautiful! Beautiful ink. I am soooo pleased. It is of good texture, weight, and the color is absolutely stunning. This is giving me the wrong one to review - The Oxblood is beautiful - but, I am actually reviewing the Damson color - a deep purple. It's beautiful, as well.

Diamine Oxblood ink, is a beautiful ink. The color is rich and dark (if it spills on your hand it’ll look like you cut yourself, but on paper, it’s luxurious! A dark, deep burgundy—a true burgundy) and the ink dries rather quickly. I use a glass dip pen with this ink and it has made my writing experience even more of a joy!Now, I’ve used Rhodia and another brand of paper (I’ll edit this review and add the name later on when I remember), and there was no bleeding nor feathering, and little show through. Very high quality ink. I did not test to see if the ink is waterproof but I will check and edit the review when I can. Drying time? I’ll guesstimate under 10 seconds, far quicker than some other inks I’ve worked with. Diamine Oxblood is a well behaved, rich toned, great quality ink.On the other hand, if you are using a dip pen, I recommend you use a ink well (the bottle is small and narrow, so dipping the pen in it isn’t too “comfortable”..), but I this is a sample size, so I will be buying the larger bottle soon! I recommend this item!

I dislike intensely the plastic bottle. Why not glass for those of us who use fountain pens and dip pens? Why not glass in these times of banishing plastics? The tall, unsteady plastic bottle has made me revert to my other brands ..shame because the colours of this brand are good. For me the bottle is a very important factor when purchasing inks. I re-use the too.

Bought from seller: Penz SolutionsIt came generously wrapped in bubble wrap, great packaging, no leaks, came in perfect condition. The bottle design and label design is different than the one advertised in the product listing but it is indeed Kensington blue. For the ink review theres a couple youtube videos that you can watch. In my opinion a good Indigo blue ink.

Great product for calligraphy or painting. However I would say it's more orange than peach (pic attached for reference)

TL;DR in response to a previous reviewer: if you are looking for a highly saturated green ink, this isn't it. If you're more open to interesting inks though, please do read on.Salamander is a dark green ink with components that do pull it in to the brown spectrum at times, but really only under specific circumstances. It tends towards brown in low humidity OR when used with fine nibbed pens - but typically only if left uncapped for more than a few minutes. In volume, it's more of a very dark army green. When water is added (and this is a very water soluble ink), blue is visible, with a fringe of yellow. Applying dilute bleach separates a very dark blue (with reddish sheen) and dark yellow component. Given that information, it's certainly true there are brown components to this ink, but the brown is in there to darken the ink without making it look flat, which adding black would do.The ink shades slightly with a thicker nib but is generally well behaved on both fountain-pen friendly and typical copy paper, provided the nib being used with it isn't scratchy.Having sampled it previously from another online dealer, i wanted a managable bottle before committing to any larger volume. The ink contained in this 30mL bottle matches properties I found in a 2mL sample of the same ink, so I'm happy for the consistency and the ink overall.
