It works.

It works and allows my to use a older motherboard on a new case that has the USB-C port. My motherboard has two USB 3.0 headers but no USB-C header so I got this for that board. You will only get USB 3.1 speeds, but that's fine by me as long as I can just use the port. Installation is super easy with no issues at all.
