WORKPRO Combination Pliers
The WORKPRO Combination Pliers (200 mm) are a fantastic addition to my toolbox. The build quality is excellent, with a sturdy, well-machined design that feels durable. The grip is comfortable and provides good control, even when working with tougher materials. The cutting edge is sharp and precise, making it easy to cut through wires and small cables without much effort. The jaws have a strong grip, ensuring a firm hold on nuts, bolts, and other objects. For the price, these pliers offer great value and perform just as well as more expensive brands. Highly recommended for DIYers and professionals alike!

Great teeth, not so great jaw strength!
Effective for removing stubborn rusted screws where you need to use the grips face-on - less effective side-on because of the relatively short handles. I bought these partly in frustration - a rusty screw which was more interested in stripping the crosshead than undoing was risking damage to my classic Audi's front panel if I tried other tools, and the end-on teeth looked ideal. They worked - and it's a cheap tool so I'm happy, it did the one job I needed and is still in perfect condition so I am sure it will be used again! A stuck socket-headed screw for the timing belt cover defeated them side-on though - I had to use vice grips. If the handle on the pliers were longer I might have been able to apply more pressure to grip. Well worth the money, only skipping a fifth star because I am not sure the side grip strength is sufficient. Cheap enough to only care about using the nose to undo bad numberplate and trim screws though!

Good piece of kit. Well worth the money.
I bought as replacement pliers, but got so much more. On the tips and in the middle are gaps made for opening nuts etc. , sharp cutters and tough enough to knock the occasional nail in, now an then. Thinking about getting another set as back up.

Good quality, problematic wire pulling
Much later the second star is removed for getting frustrated as this product refuses to do the usual things one expects from combi pliers, like grubbing the wires with the tip of the pliers and twisting. Once can't grab it, because there is the screw extractor cavity where the flat surface should be. Just arrived. The pliers look and feel more powerful than the other pair of 180mm also CrV pliers I have. These are listed as 200mm, but are actually 210mm, their business end is roughly of the same length as in my old 180mm tool, but the handles are longer. The axis pin is moved forward compared to standard designs for a higher handle-to-jaw length ratio. This means more leverage, more force at the jaws. Excellent feature. The overall quality is good, the plastic on the handles is chunky, which helps to apply more force, and they do not give up when I squeeze them really hard. It is not surprising, as the tool is on a heavier side for the range. It is not wobbly at all. It seems that it is truly made with Grade 60 CrV - cutting steel wire does not leave a mark on the jaws. Excellent feature. At the front of the jaws there is a feature assisting grabbing stuck screws while turning the pliers like a screwdriver. Good, although not sure how useful it is, as the force at the tips of the jaws is not huge. I don't think this can be used as a screw extractor, but it will help grubbing and rotating objects axially aligned to the pliers, e.g. in narrow spaces. Good feature. One problem is that the jaws open only by 25mm, while my old tool opens to 35mm, see the photo. Not good. The other problem is that the axial grabbing (screw extractor) feature occupies the whole front part of the jaws, thus making it difficult to grab and pull towards yourself a wire of a diameter less than 3mm. Not good again. It is a nice tool. It is one of those tools which extend the range of application rather than making existing operations more comfortable. It feels powerful and robust in hand. Unfortunately, it has two design faults as explained. Therefore a star down. Note, writing on the handles explicitly states that the product is unsuitable for working on live wires.

Great quality product at a great price
Fantastic pliers - comfortable to use and hold - other pliers just don’t seem made to this level of quality

Happy with purchase
I got them to try and get rid of a damaged screw. They worked after a lot of huffing and puffing! They are quite heavy duty. It’s always a good idea to have pliers at home, so I’m happy with my purchase.

grip and jaw strength is 100% to spec
I will admit, I have quiete a few workpro tools and I have always really been satisfied with the quality, price and durability of those tools. So I said for the price and design of this tool and I was in need of something with a nose with more bite and I spent some time finding it. This was the ticket. This tool helped me removed staples, 1/4 staples from a staple gun embedded into pine and holy cow these pliers got 85% of those staples without the use of a another tool to create space. So for functionality to do exactly what I had hoped for and to help with thise rounded screws (not star drive) embedded into hardwood like oak and yes it does the job on those tool. I wish these were long nose pliers but I wont gripe because everything i tested with this tool performed flawless. PS Ignore the complaints about this tool being to stiff. That's because in the factory when they press it, the use some sort of grease, its a small amount but its enough that it oozes out and people thinks it's rust. Its not rust its grease. This wont take long but work to the tool with your hands for about 20 minutes and the grease will start to come out. Then apply silicone oil to that and work the tool and wipe the grease away. If you do this with the right silicone oil when you hold the tool upright the tool will fall open like the more expensive brands.
