Mattifying Primer with Shine Control, Lightweight Pore Blurring Face Primer Blurs the Look of Pores & Helps Reduce Shine, Matte Primer with Niacinamide, 1 oz

I am working on controlling shine during the day. I am combining this with an Urban Decay mattifying setting spray. I wear a sunscreen and sometimes a cream makeup so I need some control about mid-day or in the afternoon. This combined with the setting spray helped a lot. I will continue using it. It went on easily, was not greasy, no smell, did not seem to require a whole lot. I am happy.

When mixed with my moisturizer this primer provides an excellent base for any foundation or none at all! I don’t like a shiny radiant finish so this combination suits me.

This works very well. I have ALWAYS had shine on my forehead (between my eyes) and next to my nose. This took it all away- for the entire day- I also have large pores & it seems to minimize/blur. I am really pleased with how well this works for the price point. Thank you Nuetrogena !

This is VERY MATTE. I am trying this product to see if it gives my makeup some longer wear time, especially for formal occasions + dancing. My face sweats a lot, which often has my makeup melting away or fading away. I'm not using it to fight oily skin. I'm a dry skin girl, not even combination skin. For any dry skin girls trying this, please prep your skin well before using this product. Otherwise, you will feel dry.

This product was just ok. It wasn't thick enough to really stay on longer than an hour or two. My usual product lasts almost 8 hours and is much thicker and stays in place on my face longer. Too thin but it kind of worked a little.

Light on my skin. Great in maintaining my foundation without grease built up.

I have oily, acne-prone skin, and while this primer doesn’t keep me matte through the entire summer day, I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my breakouts since switching to it. Lightweight, smooth, and doesn’t clog my pores — worth it for the skin benefits alone!
