A protein digesting enzyme
This comes from bacteria in the gut of silkworms. It's key function is mucus reduction and it reduces swelling after injury or surgery. It has some ability in breaking down fibrin in blood clots in a perti dish, however in real world tests nothing has been proven. I'm basically trying it too see what happens. What I saw that encouraged this purchase, I'm unable to find again.

positive wound, keloid and scar tissue healing
I have been taking serrapeptase for a year or so after doing my research. I have found out that this product has been effective in that it has shrunk my keloids and scar tissue on my ear due to a lodged earring that skin grew over it. It has helped with my wounds healing from two former foot surgeries. I take half the dosage on an empty stomach due to taking a prescribed medication. My experience has been that it's tasteless and doesn't cause any ill digestive effects or any negative side effects. I will definitely continue to purchase again.

Capsules
The capsules are not big so there easy to swallow. I'm hoping they help with my aches and pains. I haven't noticed any taste and it doesn't upset my stomach. So far I'm happy with the product.

Seems like good quality supplement so far
I recently tried this brand of Serrapeptase, and vs the one I was using before it does seem to be good. I take it to help with sinus congestion, and it seems like switching to this one has helped me some. I just ordered my second bottle. The pill casings do feel just a bit more fragile with this brand, so not sure how good the enteric function is or how much rough handling they can handle in shipping. I haven't seen any issues so far though.
