The nutritionists I read say we should take 2 capsules a day. This product has the correct dosage in 2 capsules and it comes in a larger container than other suppliers.

I have not analyzed the ingredients but I have no problem with this supplement. Meaning I can take it on an empty stomach without problem. No unwanted aftertaste. The label says one capsule per day is the recommended dose. The price is good compared to what I found at the local health food store. I definitely like the vegan aspect as I do not think salmon should die just to produce supplements for humans.

Formula has changed! I'm not sure what's happening but ice been taking these supplements for at least a year and the last batch I purchased has a very strong odor of lemon oil?? Previous bottles were odorless, smaller capsule size, & lighter in color. Last month's order I was sent a prenatal supplement although the packaging appeared nearly the same. I chalked it up to an honest mistake and it was handled promptly once I contacted Amazon. This month the label reads as the omega, however, the odor and taste are very strong of lemon, which has never happened, nor is lemon listed as an ingredient.

Seems good to me. I don't burp after taking this, like when I've had fish oil. Great price too.

Good product, will buy again

I've been taking these for like 3 or more months now. I buy when on sale. I take it daily. No weird smell. Stomach handles them nicely. Will deff be keeping this in my vitamin line up.

In terms of the price per gram of omega 3 fatty acids, this is probably the best out there besides "Lake Avenue Nutrition". Although since I appreciate the greater quantity per tablet I decidedly went with this one. Algal omega 3 is a good alternative to fish oil for ethical and environmental reasons, but it still has a long way to go. I could still get way more total omega 3 for a lower cost from high quality triglyceride form fish oil, so I still resist the urge to go for the less costly alternative from time to time. I hold out from doing so in the hopes that production technologies further improves such that it matches the price-per-quantity of standard fish oils.
