Impressive speaker with a pleasantly unique sound unlike other speakers in this category.
This speaker is truly impressive, I also have a JBL Flip 5, Klipsch Nashville, Marshall Emberton II, Bose Flex 2, and a Soundcore Boom 2. The Emberton II was my favorite, now the X500 is. This X500 has a uniquely warm and "spatial" quality with the perfect amount of bass making this speaker very enjoyable to listen to. The aluminum build quality that is excellent, I really like the size and form factor too. For me, this speaker is actually better at lower to moderate volumes compared with all my other speakers. The X500 can get very loud, though at 25%-40% volume the sound is amazing and not fatiguing. Higher volume is unnecessary with this speaker to sound great and to hear satisfying bass you can feel, especially when placed on the floor.

Such clarity and no distiration
Decently priced, nice size, good style, easy to operate, the sound is not tin like, it is as if the person or musician/s are in the room with you. Superior clarity, and I have not noticed any sound distortion when the volume is way up. This size takes up real estate in ones carry-on. However, there is a smaller version for when space is tight. It is rechargeable too, and having blue-tooth hooks up to T.V s with no sound bar, phones, and a host of options. I have a few friends who own the smaller version of this and they claim it travels well with the same great performance of this size.

Great alternative...
I would like to start by saying I'm not an audiophile. I'm an older person that thinks he's losing his hearing. I like music and podcasts. My genre of music ranges from classical to punk rock and everything in between. The only reference I have at this point is my JBL speaker with similar specs. When it comes to sound range, this product seems a little on the bass-y side which is my preference. I've used this product in my house and in my RV/Trailer with great sound and sound range. There are some limited on-device settings to change the audio, which works well. There is also an accompanying application that Soundcore provides that give you additional options. Indoor and outdoor sound quality are equally as good. Sound distortion is minimal and that's only if you max out the volume and the audio isn't encoded correctly, which I have not fully tested. If you have a good sound file, distortion will be nonexistent. Controls look a bit complicated, but are actually very easy to use. Build quality is seems robust, but I really like the feet on this product. It will stay where you put it as long as it's flat. I say this, because the form factor is narrow, so it fits just about anywhere, but if it's not level, it's likely to tip over. This is should not be an issue for most, but wanted to note this for anyone planning on utilizing this product outdoors. Overall, Soundcore is still relatively new compared to Bose, JBL, and the like in this product space. Soundcore gives us another option delivering a great sounding alternative. I would recommend.

Not bad for a little guy
Bought this in place of my older JBL gigantic sound bar which doesn’t seem to pair anymore with my new iOS 14 phone. Really wanted this for music anyway and find it plays pretty clearly. The spatial audio, however was a little disappointing as far as that idea that it surrounds you which of course it cannot. But if you stand and move away from it or position it Centered towards you you get the idea. I find the base a little muddy but it’s still carries as well. I would love to try the X 600 when it goes down in price for comparison. I’m kind of a snob about my audio and how it sounds. I tried the 300 but wanted more spatial stereo separation, which is what I got with this. I’m enjoying it so far with different genres ranging from jazz to chill to folk music. It has a pretty warm sound. I have not tried it yet with streaming TV so I can’t say much yet about that but I will be trying that soon. Using this in my apartment. It is very heavy and not very fun to move around and I think the point is to keep it in one space though it certainly could be moved from room to room. It’s just a little bit more weight Than I’m used to in modern speakers. It saves a lot of space as well. If it was cheaper it’d be perfect which it will be. You all watch lol. I recommend this anyhow if you want to simplify If you’re picky like me, you may have issues but if not, you’re going to love it An iOS of course Apple which I use it will not convert lossless as you might know because of data or something like that so that’s disappointing so it’s kind of average as far as the quality and I still have to find a charging block for this thing. Packaged really well, however in the ambient lights are kind of nice. The top buttons can be tricky and tough to press which I do not like about soundcore design so far in any of their speakers, so that can be frustrating And not very physically friendly and with vision loss like I have the lights mean nothing to me

I love Anker/Soundcore
Sounds amazing, and in this size it is still relatively small and portable. I am coming from a UE boom speaker, which is still a lot smaller and easier to carry along compared to this, but this sounds much better to me. I have said it before in other reviews, but thanks for Soundcore providing affordable and excellent products!

Best Bluetooth speaker hands down
Look no further if you want a good quality sounding Bluetooth speaker. Words can't explain how good this speaker sound and the bass output really impressed me. The build quality is top shelf. Easy to set up with the app and the EQ functionality is a major plus. Better go ahead and get one before they realize they are selling it too cheap. The battery life I can't speak on because I literally on had it a couple of days now but I will update later. The only gripe I have is that there is no extra output port to charge your phone. Other than that, I promise that you will not be disappointed in this speaker.

Best Speaker I’ve Ever Had Sound Quality Wise
This Speaker has left me speechless. The quality of sound that comes out this insane and of course has to do with the 3 channel Compared to the competition even speakers at higher price range can’t compete with this speaker and I’ve had plenty! Ex. JBL charge, Jbl flip, Sonos roam, ultimate ears, Any bose speaker, or a budget loud speaker like the tronsmart speaker or even the Marshall speakers!!!! (Marshall speakers do have better bass) The only 2 cons I’d have to say are - 1. You cannot change the spacial audio EQ you can ONLY customize the default EQ (for now I’m sure there will be a firmware update) 2. Being small has its disadvantages which is the bass. NOW I’m not saying this speaker doesn’t have bass cuz it does rich and tight it’s amazing BUT!!! Their isn’t enough extension in the bass like woofer would have nor does it hit as deep BUT that’s okay the speaker is small Update- Lots of people are talking about how the spacial audio isn’t that good or not that loud. You have to keep in mind this little speaker only has 3 drivers compared to thr x600 that has 5 drivers so of course it will not as sound as (spacial) as you would like. But it will blow every speaker in its price range away nothing can compete 170 and under Conclusion - Amazing just amazing if you care truly about sound this is the speaker for you. Forget the Jbl flip whatever around 200 this is the speaker for you! And with the discount it’s a STEAL!!!!!! This speaker to me personally works best with Hip-hop, R&B, nd pop at least until you can customize the EQ for the spacial audio

Hollow sound
I really wanted to love the Soundcore Motion X500. On paper, it hits every mark for a premium portable speaker: Hi-Res Audio, LDAC support, and a unique spatial audio engine. While it certainly looks the part, the actual listening experience left me wanting more. Design and Build Quality Right out of the box, the X500 impresses. The matte aluminum body feels incredibly premium and sturdy—it has a "pro" weight to it that suggests it can take a few bumps without a scratch. The 3D metal grille is beautifully finished, and the fixed aluminum handle makes it very easy to carry around. Visually, it’s a stunning piece of tech. The upward-firing driver on the top is a great touch, especially with the customizable ambient light that glows through the mesh. Whether you have it on a bookshelf or a patio table, it looks like a high-end piece of industrial design. Plus, the IPX7 waterproof rating gives you peace of mind for outdoor use. Sound Quality: The Letdown Unfortunately, the aesthetics don't quite match the acoustics. Despite the marketing talk about "immersive spatial audio," the sound signature feels thin and hollow. - Lack of Depth: Even with the "BassUp" mode engaged, the low end lacks the punch and resonance you’d expect from a speaker this size. Instead of a rich, warm thump, you get a polite tap that disappears in larger rooms. - Hollow Mids: The midrange feels recessed, making vocals and acoustic instruments sound like they are being played through a tunnel. It lacks that "meat on the bones" feeling that makes music feel alive. - Spatial Audio Woes: While the upward-firing driver does widen the soundstage, it often results in a "processed" sound. Turning on the spatial modes seems to prioritize artificial width over tonal accuracy, which only adds to the hollow sensation. Verdict The Soundcore Motion X500 is a masterclass in build quality and design. If you want a speaker that looks beautiful in your home and feels like it’s built to last a decade, this is it. However, if you are an audiophile—or even just a casual listener who enjoys a full, deep sound—the hollow performance might be a dealbreaker.

Alles in allem: Super Teil!

This is a superlative speaker. The sound is crisp and clear and the bass is rich. There is no distortion even on very high volume. Convenient to carry and it looks good on the shelf in any room.
