Drink Like A Viking!
This is a very well made wooden mug. It's strong and lightweight, feels good in the hand and works great for hot drinks or a swig from an ice cold river. Unlike other wooden cups, this one doesn't crack or smell like chemicals. For maintenance I just rinse and wipe it down with olive oil every once in awhile. I loved mine so much I bought a second one!

Buyer beware - Not nearly as described
Answering "What did you think of the item?" Disappointed. Bogus product description, rough-cut production, poor quality control. If it wasn't a gift, it would be sent back. Despite multiple claims of 16 oz capacity, and so branded on bottom, normal-pour equals about 8 ounces. Another buyer beware example. Single star is a self award for subsequent sanding, oiling, and drilling of a small lanyard hole in the handle.

Needed just a bit of sanding to take out some rough spots. Otherwise, very well made.
