Great fit and quality. Thin, flexible, warm. True to fit and they look great. No smell out of the box. Washed and dried fine in the machine. These are clearly made for the American market; the rear waistband is not too low like most chinese-made bottoms; the front pouch is adequately spacious and comfortable. I'm happy with my purchase and I just bought a second pair.

These are my favorite thermals I’ve tried. I can wear both the large and medium sizes. The large is a looser fit and more comfortable when lounging around in or when it’s not too cold out. The medium fits tighter around my legs and I like this size for the really cold days. They both fit well around my waist and the large size stays up fine and doesn’t fall down under my pants. I prefer the large size in general because I usually don’t like things tight on me so this is my go to size but I do have a couple of medium sized pairs and don’t mind them tight when it’s really cold out. These feel comfortable on my skin, are very warm and and stay soft after washing, 5 stars

I've been using these nearly 24/7 now for the past 6 mos. Tried other brands, incl. "base layer," expensive name brands, double-weave, etc., these are the only ones that actually kept me warm enough. Although the fit is close to what you would expect for an average-sized (not medically fit size) person, they do stretch in diameter over time, so buy them one size under unless you are tall and then I think you would have to put up with the ankle cuffs too high for you anyway. The ankle cuffs do not have stretch fabric, but I have never had difficulty with them stretching and they fit snugly (not at all tight) on or just above my ankles. The main fabric is very soft and fell very nice, but it does pill just a tiny bit over about 50 washes (insignificant amt). Turn them inside-out to allow your loose body hairs to be removed. I have compared them to Carhartt medium-weight base layer, which didn't keep me warm at all. I do wish they weren't as baggy, like all long underwear the crotch is just a bit low, but I haven't found one that works for me otherwise. According to the other reviews of all long underwear, the size may not factor in the length (sorry tall/short people).

I purchased these along with two pairs of a lighter weight for my son. They wash extremely well even very dirty with grease they come cleaner than most others I have bought. The proof is in the pudding as they say, how warm and how well do they work? My 24-year-old son is a working guy, this is for men who work outside. At this date, we are waiting for 12 to 18 inches of snow here in Boston MA. My son is a Conductor for the M.B.T.A. (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Temps in Boston today were between 4 degree's and got up to 15 degree's with a wind chill of minus11 degrees. Some of the trains have working heaters, some don't, some signals are working, some are not due to the extreme cold, this requires my son to "flag" his train, he is not on the subway, he's over the iron as they say. Flagging, throwing switches by hand and doing brake tests, in freezing cold and bitter wind is not easy to dress for, he needs to bend and move without being restricted. This cold splits the steel rails and shatters the switches. Today, he layered three pairs of the long johns, shirts, and pants together with his uniform, his coat, and high visibility vest. Two hats and gloves, he wasn't hot, wasn't over warm, and could move without freezing. As he said, he'd not want to be out there for hours, but for the time he had to be out, he could manage. For tomorrow he's taking the big guns, his as we call it, "Michelin Man suit", his heavy overalls. I have to say at this time, 11:05 PM Wed, the only train canceled for him tomorrow is his noon time one, he will work both the early morning commuter and evening commuter unless they cancel tomorrow. He will fill in anything they need him for during the day...the joy of being the low man on the board. I think that is the best write up you can give these long johns, if you have to work outside and work in very cold weather this is the best I've found so far for it. I've tried lots of different brands these are the best by far.

My brother is really happy with them. Very warm, comfortable, true to size and the price was amazing!! No shrinking when washed.

To preface, I'm 6FT2 and I am a 30/32 in most jeans. I also ride a motorcycle. Fit: My first concern was that the waist and length would not match up and i would be wearing something that goes a bit past my knees. This was not the case. they fit perfect around my waist, even with boxers underneath, and are thin enough at the top that they work with slim/ skinny jeans. The length was just right. They sit a bit above my ankle, which is where i expected them to. They are a bit baggy for me, but that was totally expected because of my body shape. so, if you're tall and thin, don't worry, these got you covered, literally. Usage: I live in sunny California, so I don't get much cold weather, but because i ride a motorcycle i wanted something that would keep me warm when riding at night or in the morning when its a bit chilly. these did the job wonderfully. Before I had these my legs would get pretty cold, and the weather is only going to get colder. with these on though, I am comfortable at most speeds. On average I ride 45MPH in about 40-50F temp. They get the job done and feel comfortable all day long. I know the conditions here aren't "cold" to most parts of the world, but i would feel confident in even colder weather as well. all in all these are great and you should pick em up if you want to stay a bit warmer.

The Duofold top layers are absolutely top notch. However, the bottoms aren't perfect. These things work well in the sense that they keep you warm without overheating you during cold (sub zero Fahrenheit) climates, but they don't fit you that well in the area males would like the most support. It's pretty lose in that region. Now, you might say why not just wear regular underwear under it. Doing that would solve the problem, sure, but it was not an option for me as I was travelling with a 50L backpack and I did not have any room for regular underwear. Now that I'm back home, it's an option, but I feel these things should provide more support. I bought Duofolds way back in 2012 and they were more supportive and form fitting, which I liked a lot. It's not a bad purchase for the price, but if you want an all-in-one product, I'd spend the extra money to get maybe full or mostly synthetic thermal pants. Get the tops though--those are great!

Great quality longjohns! These wash well are Supersoft, comfortable and fit well. My husband is very happy with them. Nice also to have the different colours rather than just boring old grey.
