If you can find a straight and true one best hammer for weight and use
Purchased this framing hammer a couple years ago from a reputable source. Multiple hammers were purchased from this supplier as each one was returned due to the head and shaft twisted slightly making the hammer unbalanced. If you can find one that is straight and true then it s the best you'll find and use. Unfortunately I was unable to find one a Without paying a astronomical amounts of money. Currently using an alternative estwing ultra alternative but nowhere near as good as a straight and true v5.

As a proffesional carpenter I wanted a longer than normal hammer,and the head appealed to me for getting in close to brickwork etc. Side puller works great, straight claw is nice and sharp.Fantastic tool.

El martillo en general lo veo calidad media El vinilo del mango es de color negro ,presta a confusión el plástico que lo cubre con la bandera americana. La marca en el cabo parece que esta sobre puesta. En la pagina oficial de esta marca advierte que contiene algún producto que puede ser cancerígeno

I had this hammer for 6 years. It got stolen from a jobsite, so I bought another, actually I bought two more, one for me, one for hired labor. I love this hammer. The nail-puller on the side is awesome. Why don't all hammers have this? That feature alone has made this hammer pay for itself. You'll never break the handle on an all-steel hammer. The claw at the back is sharp and straight for notching framing. 19 ounces is just the right amount of swing for a real framing hammer. All these 16-ounce titanium hammers on the market for $100 and up is bulls***. And 23 ounces? Maybe if you're a body-builder. A 19 ounce hammer will sink nails all day long without wrecking your hand. If you want more juice to really knock something around, grab the 10 lb. sledge.

So when I first got the hammer it looks great. I love style itself mostly because the side pull. I went from a 14oz to this 19oz hammer. I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing my review to get a feel for it and I’m impressed. If you have the money the wood handle version is a more balanced choice but I do concrete framing so this was the one I chose. If you want a great hammer for reasonable price with side pull this is a great option!
