Retractable Car Tyre Inflator DC 12V 150PSI

I bought the Giraffe Tools retractable tyre inflator to keep in the car for regular tyre top-ups and emergencies, and it’s proven to be a really sensible bit of kit. Build quality feels reassuringly solid, and it doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel some portable inflators suffer from. One of the standout features for me is the self-winding cable. It’s surprisingly practical — no loose wires, no tangles, and no wrestling to stuff everything back into the boot. It keeps mess to an absolute minimum and makes packing the unit away quick and hassle-free. In use, it’s straightforward and does the job well. I topped up a couple of car tyres that were a few PSI down and it inflated them quickly without any fuss. The pressure gauge is clear and easy to read, which gives confidence that you’re inflating to the correct level rather than guessing. Noise levels are about what you’d expect for a portable compressor, noticeable but perfectly acceptable. The supplied adapters are a nice extra. I’ve used it on car tyres, a bicycle, and even a football, and changing between fittings was simple. Plugging into the 12V socket is easy, and the cable is long enough to comfortably reach all four tyres. Overall, this is a well-thought-out, practical inflator that’s ideal for keeping in the car. The self-winding cable alone makes it far easier to live with than many alternatives, and performance-wise it does exactly what it claims. Very happy with the purchase and would happily recommend it.

Bought this to stop the mind numbing drag that is finding a working airline that you don’t have to pay a fortune to use, success. Seems sturdy, easy to use and no fuss. As long as it lasts it’s a good purchase.

Easy to use, set pressure start and it'll stop when it reaches its... noise is better than some other units I've had in the passed but it's never bothered me when you just want ya tyre pumped up lol, great addition is the cable retractable feature OMG game changer, no more having too wrap up a long a** cable just press the button and boom it's nicely outta sight... highly recommend

Worth every penny

I bout this in January 2026. Second one I have bought, same problem as the first - which I bought in June 2024 - suddenly stops working. Have tried plugging it into different cars, still not working. Really disappointing as it looks good, and when it was new it was great. But this is a bit of kit that can't not work as you are usually try to sort out a problem. So zero stars from me unfortunately - for both purchases. I will now look for an alternative.
