Guitar Amp Insert > Effects Loop
I have an amplifier with an effects loop, that on the amp is just an "Insert". (Photo of the amp for reference) I did some research and saw I could use a cable like this to create an effects loop. I simply connected the one end into "Insert", and used the "Tip" as my SEND, and the "Ring" as the RETURN. I'm amazed at how well this works, and there's next to no noise running a Delay/Flanger/Phaser through the loop. I have a 25' Hosa brand guitar cable as well, and its been my main cable for over 5 years for home use. Big fan of Hosa, and huge fan of this cable. Worked great for a non-traditional effects loop, along with other applications I'm sure. If this meets your application, look no further.

Works great when you want to run a wireless system to your PA while using effects
This works great if you want to add some effects pedals to your Bose S1 pro plus while playing electric guitar but also want to be wireless. Look up video on YouTube on how to accomplish this.

This is NOT a case of "You get what you paid for"
The Only reason why I cannot give it a 5 stars is because I cut both ends on the 1/4 TS side since I needed bare wire so I could not test the connectivity of those two connectors but the very first thing that will impress you is the flexibility of the wire normally found on cable brands like Mogami or Canare, this is due to having more strands with a smaller gauge vs having less strands with thicker gauge, this is very convenient for cable management . The shielding is also as good as it gets considering that this is a pair of wires running parallel together as opposed inside a single jacket with a second layer of shielding, I am running this cable bundled together with power cable with no buzz or hum there. Can't tell you about durability but the strain relief built in the connector as all in one piece seems pretty good when you pair all of the above with the price, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.

Alternative for Bass DI
This Hosa cable makes it easy to connect the headphone output (with speaker emulation) of an Orange Crush bass combo amp to a digital recorder. So far, it has been as effective as the Simplifier ($$$) unit designed for electric guitar. Your mileage may vary.

Works perfectly as a keyboard stereo splitter
Using this as a stereo splitter for a keyboard that only has one phones/output jack. I had endless difficulty in the past trying to split this signal properly even using an adapter but this was the only setup I tried that worked perfectly. I can connect my keyboard directly to 2 powered studio monitors with these.
