Excellent story with beautiful art
A brilliant, well written self-contained story with superb art. For long time fans of Superman or newcomers, this story is perfect. These DC compact editions are excellent value for money at an affordable price point.

Superb collection of a fantastic run of stories
This collection, one of the first for DC to collect in their new compact archive series, is a great collection, and showcases the best of Frank Quitely & Grant Morrison's storytelling abilities. I suspect that some elements of these stories will inform the revamp of the DC movie line when it kicks off formerly in 2025. I really do like the compact archive format, it's been long overdue and will be a great way of getting new readers as the price point is excellent. However, for readers like myself, the text is probably too small to read easily (admittedly, I have poor eyesight even with glasses), so I will probably be more cautious with future compact archive purchases, and check to see if the source material has small text to begin with (as did All Star Superman), to avoid a tougher time with further reduction! All that personal stuff aside, I highly recommend All Star Superman compact archive, and thank DC for going down this route with reprint collections.

Affordable and good quality.
Essential reading for any Superman fan and the compact comics line doesn't break the bank, perfect if you want to dip your toes into the comic space.

Perfect superman reading
The compact series is perfect for reading on to go The All Star Superman story is also a great superman story for all ages. If you have watched the recent Superman movie (2025) or the Superman and Lois TV show, you will notice some elements from both that got their inspiration from this story arc
